Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Sale of the Manor of Frognall, and other Lands and Hereditaments in the County of Kent, the Estate of George Clerk Esquire, for Payment of Debts; and settling an Estate in the County of Leicester and City of London, to the same Uses as the Estate in Kent was settled."
The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
Message to H. C. with it.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Fellows and Mr. Orlebar:
To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.
Woollen Manufactures, &c. Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for reviving and continuing an Act made in the First Year of Her Majesty's Reign, for the more effectual preventing Abuses and Frauds of Persons employed in the working up the Woollen, Linen, Fustian, Cotton, and Iron Manufactures of this Kingdom."
Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, To-morrow, at Twelve a Clock.

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better qualifying Justices of Peace, in that Part of Great Britain called England, and the Principality of Wales;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
Also, a Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Wrightson and others:
With a Bill, intituled, "An Act to dissolve the present, and prevent the future, Combination of Coalowners, Lightermen, Masters of Ships, and others, to advance the Price of Coals, in Prejudice of the Navigation, Trade, and Manufactures of this Kingdom; and for the further Encouragement of the Coal Trade;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Ordered, That the said Bill be read a Second Time on Thursday next; and all the Lords summoned.
Buckley versus Littlebury.
The House being moved, "That a Day may be appointed, for hearing of the Cause wherein Samuel Buckley is Appellant, and George Littlebury Respondent:"
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Monday the Twenty-eighth Day of this Instant May, at Eleven a Clock.
Mine Adventurers Bill:
The House was (according to Order) adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Relief of the Creditors and Proprietors of the Company of Mine Adventurers, by establishing a Method for settling the Differences between the Company and their Creditors; and for uniting them, in order to an effectual working the Mines of the said Company."
And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.
And the Earl of Clarendon reported, "That the Committee had met upon the said Bill; and heard Counsel for and against several Parts thereof; and were of Opinion, it would be for the Satisfaction of the House, in the Progress of the said Bill, that the Deeds mentioned by the Counsel might be produced before them."
To which the House agreed; and the following Orders were made:
"Ordered, That this House shall be put into a Committee again, on the said Bill, on Wednesday next, at Twelve a Clock."
Deeds to be produced.
"Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Persons who petitioned this House the Seventeenth Instant, as Creditors and Proprietors of or in the Company of Mine Adventurers of England, to be heard by their Counsel, in relation to the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Relief of the Creditors and Proprietors of the Company of Mine Adventurers, by establishing a Method for settling the Differences between the Company and their Creditors, and for uniting them, in order to an effectual working the Mines of the said Company," do, on Wednesday next, produce before the Committee of the whole House, to which the said Bill stands referred, the several Deeds, mentioned by the Counsel at the Bar, of the Dates following; (videlicet,) 29th of June 1708, 15th of February 1708, 1st of February 1709, 27th of June 1710, 16th of November 1710, and the Release from the Cashier to the Company."
