This Day James Mynde, in Custody of the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, was (according to Order) brought to the Bar; where he, on his Knees, receiving a Reprimand from the Lord Chancellor, for his Offence, in setting Counsel's Names to an Appeal without their Knowledge, was discharged out of Custody, paying his Fees.

Burlington Piers, Bill:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to revive and continue an Act of the Eighth and Ninth Year of the Reign of His late Majesty King William, for Repair of the Piers of Bridlington, alias Burlington, in the East Riding of the County of York."

After Debate;

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. that the Lords have agreed to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Thomas Gery and Mr. Meller:

To acquaint them, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Coinage Bill.

The House (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to continue Duties, for encouraging the Coinage of Money; and to charge the Duties on Senna as a Medicinal Drug; and for the appropriating several Supplies granted to His Majesty."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Clarendon reported from the said Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill; and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to disable any Person from being chose a Member of, or from sitting and voting in, the House of Commons, who has any Pension for any Number of Years from the Crown."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Wednesday next; and the Lords to be summoned.
