Baroness Schulenburg, Nat. Bill.

The Earl of Cholmondeley reported from the Lords Committees, to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act for naturalizing Erengard Melosine, Baroness of Schulenburg," was committed: "That they had gone through the Bill; and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."

Ordered, That the Bill be engrossed.

Timber Trees, &c. Bill:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to encourage the planting of Timber Trees, Fruit Trees, and other Trees, for Ornament, Shelter, or Profit; and for the better Preservation of the same; and for preventing the burning of Woods."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. that the Lords have agreed to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Holford and Mr. Lovibond:

To acquaint them, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Burlington Piers, Bill.

Ordered, That the Bill, intituled, "An Act to revive and continue an Act of the Eighth and Ninth Year of the Reign of His late Majesty King William, for Repair of the Piers of Bridlington, alias Burlington, in the East Riding of the County of York," be read the Third Time To-morrow Morning.

Mynde to be brought to the Bar.

The House being informed, "That James Mynde, in Custody of the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, who had confessed himself guilty of setting Counsel's Names to the Appeal of William Rutter and others without such Counsel's Knowledge, and who for the said Offence was sined by this House to His Majesty in the Sum of One Hundred Pounds, has caused the said Sum to be paid into the Hands of the Clerk of the Parliaments, pursuant to the Order of this House on Tuesday last:"

And the House being thereupon moved, "That the said James Mynde may be discharged out of the said Custody:"

It is Ordered, That the said James Mynde be brought to the Bar of this House To-morrow, in order to his Discharge, paying his Fees.

Traitors Estates Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for appointing Commissioners, to inquire of the Estates of certain Traitors, and of Popish Recusants, and of Estates given to superstitious Uses, in order to raise Money out of them, severally, for the Use of the Public."

Then it was moved, "That the said Bill be read a Second Time on Saturday next."

Which being objected to; and a further Day proposed for the said Second Reading:

The Question was put, "Whether the said Bill shall be read a Second Time on Saturday next?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Ordered, That the said Bill be read a Second Time on Saturday next; and the Lords to be summoned; and that the Judges, or some of them, do then attend this House.

Message from H. C. with a Replication to E. of Strafford's Answer.

A Message from the House of Commons, by Mr. Aislabie and others:

With a Replication to the Earl of Strafford's Answer put in to the Articles of Impeachment exhibited against him.

Which was read, as follows:

"The Commons have considered the Answer of Thomas Earl of Strafford, to the Articles of Impeachment exhibited against him, by the Knights, Citizens, and Burgesses, in Parliament assembled; and do aver their Charge against the said Thomas Earl of Strafford, for high Crimes and Misdemeanors, to be true; and that the said Earl is guilty of all and singular the Articles and Charges therein respectively contained, in such Manner as he stands impeached; and that the Commons will be ready to prove their Charge against him, at such convenient Time as shall be appointed for that Purpose."

Coinage Bill.

Whereas this Day was appointed, for the House to be in a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to continue Duties, for encouraging the Coinage of Money; and to charge the Duties on Senna as a Medicinal Drug; and for the appropriating several Supplies granted to His Majesty:"

It is Ordered, That this House shall be put into a Committee thereupon, To-morrow.

Oaths, Time to take, to prolong, Bill.

Whereas this Day also was appointed, for the House to be in a Committee, to consider further of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for prolonging the Time for Persons to take the Oaths, pursuant to the Act for the further Security of His Majesty's Persons and Government; and the Succession of the Crown in the Heirs of the late Princess Sophia, being Protestants; and for extinguishing the Hopes of the pretended Prince of Wales, and his open and secret Abettors:"

It is Ordered, That this House shall be put into a Committee, to consider further of the said Bill, on Tuesday next.

Pensioners for a Term of Years, not to sit in H. C. Bill.

Whereas this Day was appointed, for the Second Reading of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to disable any Person from being chose a Member of, or from sitting and voting in, the House of Commons, who has any Pension for any Number of Years from the Crown:"

It is Ordered, That the said Bill be read a Second Time To-morrow; and all the Lords be summoned to attend the Service of this House at the Second Reading thereof.

Papists, to register their Estates, &c. Bill.

Whereas this Day was likewise appointed, for the House to be in a Committee, to consider further of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to oblige Papists to register their Names and Real Estates:"

It is Ordered, That this House shall be put into a Committee, to consider further of the said Bill, on Saturday next; and that the Lords be summoned to attend the Service of this House on that Occasion.
