Harvey's Bill.

After reading, and considering, the Report of the Judges, to whom was referred the Petition of William Harvey the Elder, and William Harvey the Younger, Esquires; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for the Purposes therein mentioned:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill, according to the Prayer of the said Petition.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable William Harvey the Elder, Esquire, and William Harvey Esquire, his Son, to settle a Jointure, and grant a Lease; and for vesting the Inheritance, after a Term of Five Hundred Years, of Lands in Suffolk, in Trustees, to be sold, for raising Portions for his Daughters."

Huband, alias Pollen, versus Huband et al.

The House being moved, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing the Appeal depending in this House, wherein John Huband, alias Pollen, is Appellant, and Sir John Huband and others are Respondents:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Friday the Fifteenth Day of this Instant May, at Eleven a Clock.

Descury et al. Nat. Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of Colonel Simeon Descury, Peter Ribot, and Peter Lafitte, and other Officers, lately come from Spain and Portugal; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for their Naturalization:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners have hereby Leave to bring in a Bill, according to the Prayer of the Petition.

Ashe versus Ashe.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Simeon Ashe Clerk, and Palatia Grout Widow, Brother and Sister, and also Executors of the last Will, of Jeremiah Ashe Citizen and Wine-cooper of London, from a Decree made by the Court of Exchequer, the Eighth of December One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twelve, on the Behalf of Mary Ashe, alias Goody, alias Goodwith, Executor of the last Will of Palatia Goody Spinster; praying the Reversal of the said Decree, and the Proceedings thereon stayed:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Mary Ashe may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and she is hereby required to put in her Answer thereunto, in Writing, on or before Friday the Fifteenth Day of this Instant May, at Eleven a Clock; and that, in the mean Time, all Proceedings on the said Decree shall be stayed.

Byde's Bill.

After reading, and considering, the Report of the Judges, to whom was referred the Petition of Thomas Byde Esquire and others; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for the Purposes therein mentioned:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill, according to the Prayer of the said Petition.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act "to amend several Defects in an Act of Parliament, made in the Tenth Year of the Reign of His late Majesty King William the Third, (intituled, An Act to enable Thomas Byde Esquire, an Insant, with the Consent of his Guardians and next Relations, to make a Contract for the buying in his Mother's Jointure; and to sell a small Estate in Great Amwell, in the County of Hertford; and likewise for the securing and raising a Portion for Barbara Byde Spinster, Sister of the said Thomas Byde, and for other Purposes in the said Act mentioned); and to enable the said Thomas Byde to raise Monies, and to make Leases, for the Purposes in the present Act mentioned."

Sir Charles Gresham's Petition referred to Judges.

Upon reading the Petition of Sir Charles Gresham Baronet (on the Behalf of himself and his Sons), Elizabeth Gresham Spinster, Daughter and Heir of Sir Edward Gresham Baronet, deceased, and Henry Colchester, her Trustee; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for enabling the Petitioner Sir Charles to raise, upon his Estate, the Sum of Five Thousand Pounds, and Interest, and Maintenance for the Petitioner Elizabeth, and to make a Provision for the Younger Children of the said Sir Charles:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, referred to Mr. Baron Bury and Mr. Baron Price; who are forthwith to summon all Parties concerned in the Bill; and, after hearing them, to report to the House the State of the Case, with their Opinion thereupon, under their Hands, and whether all Parties that may be concerned in the Consequences of the Bill have signed the Petition; and also that the Judges, having perused the Bill, do sign the same.

Sir Thomas Lawley's Bill.

After reading, and considering, the Report of the Judges, to whom was referred the Petition of Sir Thomas Lawley Baronet; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for the Purposes therein mentioned:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill, according to the Prayer of the said Petition.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to vest the Estates of Sir Thomas Lawley Baronet, in the Counties of Essex and Lincoln, in Trustees, to be sold, for the Payment of Four Thousand Pounds, and Interest, and Two Thousand Pounds; and to vest the Residue of the Purchase-money, if any, in the Purchase of other Lands, to be settled to the same Uses as the Essex Estate now stands limited."
