Special Bails, Bill concerning.
The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for settling the Method of taking special Bails in the Court of King's Bench, and for the filing, entering, and doggeting of all special Bails in the several Courts of Law at Westminster."
The House was resumed.
And ORDERED, That the House shall be put into a Committee to proceed on the said Bill on Monday next, at Eleven of the Clock.
Vexatious Suits, to prevent, Bill.
The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent frivolous and vexatious Suits."
And, after some Time, the House was resumed.
And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill, with several Amendments."
Which were read Twice, and agreed to.
Dutchy of Cornwall, Bill to enable Their Majesties to make Grants, &c. of.
Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for enabling Their Majesties to make Grants, Leases, and Copies of Offices, Lands, and Hereditaments, Parcel of Their Dutchy of Cornwall, or annexed to the same, and for Confirmation of Leases and Grants already made."
And, after some Time, the House was resumed.
And the Earl of Stamford reported, "That the Committee had gone through the Bill; and passed it, with some few Amendments."
Which were read Twice, and agreed to.
