Wapping Parish Bill:

The Earl of Bridgewater reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for erecting a new Parish, to be called the Parish of St. John of Wapping, within the County of Midd'x," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for erecting a new Parish, to be called the Parish of St. John of Wapping, within the County of Midd'x."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass, with the Amendments?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Robert Legard and Mr. Holford:

To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence to the Amendments.

Clippers, for better Discovery of, Bill:

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the better Discovery of the Clippers of the Coin of this Kingdom."

ORDERED, That the said Bill shall be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Tuesday next, at Eleven of the Clock; and that the Officers of the Mint have Notice thereof, and do then attend, and may be heard if they think fit.

Goldsmiths to be heard against it.

Upon reading the Petition of the Wardens and Commonalty of the Mistery of Goldsmiths of the City of London; praying, "That they may be heard, before the passing of the Bill, intituled, An Act for the better Discovery of the Clippers of the Coin of this Kingdom:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners shall be heard, by their Counsel, at the Committee of the whole House to whom the said Bill is referred, on Tuesday the Seventeenth Day of this Instant April, at Eleven of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Vexatious Suits, to prevent, Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent frivolous and vexatious Suits."

And, after some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in the Bill; and desire another Day may be appointed for them to proceed."

Special Bails, Bill concerning.

ORDERED, That the House shall be put into a Committee to proceed on the said Bill; as also upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for settling the Method of taking special Bails in the Court of King's Bench, and for the filing, entering, and doggeting of all special Bails in the several Courts of Law at Westminster," To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock.

Judges of K. B. to attend about Proceedings against Knowles, who claims the Title of E. of Banbury.

Whereas To-morrow is appointed for the Judges to attend, upon the Account delivered in the Eleventh Instant, by Their Majesties Attorney General of the Proceedings in Their Majesties Court of King's Bench against the Person who claims the Title of Earl of Banbury:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all the Judges now in Town do attend this House thereupon on Monday next, at Eleven of the Clock; and that all the Lords be summoned then to attend.
