BOXWELL WITH LEIGHTERTON

There are references to imprecisely located Roman remains. Coins, human bones and burnt stones were found in the 'Warren', probably E. of the parish church. (fn. 1) Pottery and several late Roman coins were found at Boxwell Lodge (fn. 2) (ST 82389245).
