To Master John de Obizis, canon of Ferrara, papal chaplain, nuncio of the apostolic see, and collector of the papal camera in England. Appointing him (who is also an auditor of causes of the apostolic palace, and who formerly exercised for several years the office of collector in the said realm) to the said office during the pleasure of the pope and the apostolic see, John [de Castilliono], bishop of Coutances, at present collector in the said realm, being hereby recalled and removed; with the usual faculties. He is to send in his accounts every two years, and pay in his receipts by letters of exchange or other safe way, and is to take the usual oath of fealty to Lewis, cardinal priest of St. Laurence's in Damaso, papal chamberlain, or the vicechamberlain, and to receive a like oath from his own subcollectors. To Hugh Forster, a Benedictine monk of St. Mary's, Glastonbury, bachelor of canon law, of the diocese of Bath and Wells, papal chaplain. Appointing him (who has been found fit after examination made in the presence of John, bishop of Palestrina, the pope's major penitentiary, and a number of penitentiaries and masters of theology), a penitentiary in St. Peter's, Rome and in the Roman court. Before beginning to exercise the office he is to take the usual oath of fealty to the said major penitentiary.Religionis zelus, vite etc. (Blondus. Collata, F. Lauezius.A. de Magio.
