To the abbot of St. Mary's, Newry (de Viridiligno), in the diocese of Dromore. Mandate to make provision to Peter Maguryn, priest, of the diocese of Dromore (who lately received papal dispensation, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure) of a canonry of Dromore, and to collate and assign to him the parish church of Cluandallan in the said diocese, value not exceeding 8 marks, wont to be governed by a canon of Dromore (in which church, although there is a fixed number of canons, there is no distinction of prebends), void by the resignation of Patrick Okeallaych, made to John, archbishop of Armagh, when visiting by his metropolitical authority the diocese of Dromore. To David de Hamylton, rector of Cumnok in the diocese of Glasgow, M.A. Reservation for collation to him, who is of noble birth and a bachelor of canon law, of the hospital of Rothfen in the diocese of Aberdeen, without cure, value not exceeding 40l. of old sterlings, wont to be assigned to secular clerks as a perpetual benefice, to become void by the promotion, made by the pope and by the approaching consecration, of Columba, elect of Moray; notwithstanding that he holds the parish church of Cumnok in the diocese of Glasgow, and a certain perpetual chaplaincy of St. Thomas the Martyr without the walls of G[l]asgow, without cure and of the patronage of laymen, value together not exceeding 40l. of like sterlings, and is litigating in the papal palace about the deanery of Glasgow, a major elective dignity with cure, of which he has not got possession, whose value, together with that of the annexed canonry and prebend, does not exceed 100l. of like sterlings.
