To the bishops of Ciudad Rodrigo and Limerick, and the abbot of St. Peter's, Clar, in the diocese of Killaloe. Mandate to collate and assign to Cornelius Ogryffa, clerk, of the diocese of Killaloe (who is the son of a married man and and unmarried woman, and who formerly, without mention of his said illegitimacy, had himself made a clerk by authority of the ordinary, and afterwards, without mentioning that he had been made a clerk and stating that he was the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman, received papal dispensation to be promoted to all other, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure, under pretext of which he has had himself promoted to the order of acolyte and other minor orders), the perpetual vicarage of Kyllmaelyery in the said diocese, value not exceeding 4 marks, void because the late Matthew McYnaerchynnyger held it for more than a year without having himself ordained priest and without dispensation. He is hereby dispensed to minister in the orders which he has received, be promoted to holy orders, hold the said vicarage and resign it, simply or for exchange, as often as he pleases.
