Provision to him, a priest and student of canon law, of a canonry in Salisbury and another in Exeter, with reservation of a prebend in each; notwithstanding that he holds by papal dispensation a canonry and prebend and the provostship, which is a dignity, unique, or office with cure (dignitas unica seu officium curatum, cf. above, Reg. Lat. CXXIX, f. 58), of St. Thomas's, Glasney, and the parish church of Opton Pyn, and that the pope has lately ordered provision to be made to him [ibid.] of the deanery, of which he has not yet obtained possession, of St. Karentoc's in the diocese of Exeter, value altogether not exceeding 100 marks, and that he has had the two dispensations above [ibid.]. Vite etc.
