1406. 14 Kal. Jan. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 2d.)	To Robert de Appilton, rector of Stretton in le Clay, in the diocese of York. Decree, as below. Innocent VII made provision to John Prophete, priest, perpetual beneficiary in the parish church of Ledebury in the diocese of Hereford, of the previously reserved deanery of York, with the condition that, upon obtaining it, he should resign the perpetual benefice, called the portion, or prebend, of Overhall in Ledebury which he still holds. Subsequently, namely on 5 Id. Aug. anno 2 [1406], the same pope reserved, for collation to Appilton, the said perpetual benefice, without cure, value not exceeding 50 marks; notwithstanding that he had lately, holding the parish church of Hugate in the diocese of York, received papal dispensation to hold for ten years two incompatible benefices, even if one or both of them were a dignity, even major, or principal and unique, respectively, and elective, personatus or office, with or without cure, in a metropolitan, cathedral or collegiate church, or were a perpetual vicarage or a parish church, and to resign them for exchange or otherwise, as often as seemed good to him, and hold instead two similar or dissimilar incompatible benefices, after which dispensation he resigned Hugate and obtained Stretton in le Clay and Bethome in the said diocese, their value not exceeding 160 marks; notwithstanding also that the said pope had ordered provision to be made to him of a canonry and prebend of Lincoln, possession of which he had not obtained and whose value did not exceed 80 marks, and that he had lately ordered provision to be made to him of canonries, with expectations of prebends, of York and St. Mary's, Southwell; pope Innocent's will being that, as soon as he obtained a canonry and prebend in York or in St. Mary's, the said other provision should be void. Seeing that, on account of the death of pope Innocent, the letters of the above reservation were not drawn up, the pope decrees that they shall hold good from their said date, and that these presents shall be sufficient proof.Racioni congruit. 1407. 16 Kal. April. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 21.)	To the archbishop of Armagh, the bishop of Piacenza and the dean of Armagh. Mandate to collate and assign to Patrick Magynd, perpetual vicar of the parish church of St. Ronan de Land, in the diocese of Dromore—who lately had papal dispensation, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure, after which he was ordained priest and obtained the said vicarage—the rectory of Cluaindaym in the said diocese, value not exceeding 4 marks, so long void that there is no certain knowledge of the manner of its voidance; notwithstanding that the pope has this day [below, f. 235d] ordered provision to be made to him of the canonry and prebend of St. Ronan's de Land, in Dromore, value also not exceeding 4 marks, and has dispensed him to hold them. He is hereby dispensed to hold the said rectory, upon obtaining which or the said canonry and prebend, he is, as he has offered, to resign the said vicarage.Vite ac morum.
7 Id. March. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 24.)	To the prior of Lochra in the diocese of Killaloe. Mandate to collate and assign to Gillasius Maccorcrayn, clerk, of the said diocese, if found fit in Latin, the perpetual vicarage of Byrrad in the same diocese, value not exceeding 4 marks, void because the late Achas Ochuanayn held it for a year and more without being ordained priest and without dispensation. 1406. 14 Kal. Jan. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 27d.)	To the bishops of Piacenza and Kilfenora, and the prior of Inniscronan in the diocese of Killaloe. Decree, as above f. 2d, and for the same reason, giving retrospective force to the collation made on 13 Kal. Nov. anno 2 [1406], by Innocent VII to Florence Ocathail alias Oruagyn, clerk, of the diocese of Kilfenora, of the perpetual vicarage of Kilkyde in the diocese of Limerick, value not exceeding 8 marks, void by the death of Maurice Ohuallachan; with mandate to carry out the collation. 1407. Kal. Feb. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 42d.)	To the abbot of Boyle (de Buellio) in the diocese of Elphin, the provost of Elphin and the archdeacon of Cernes (Sarnen.) in Bordeaux. Mandate to collate and assign to Maurice Macgillichairaich, priest, of the diocese of Elphin, the perpetual vicarage of Tachbuicheyn, value not exceeding 3 marks, void because Thomas Macimurgyssa held it for a year and more without being ordained priest and without dispensation. 2 Kal. March. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 43d.)	To the bishops of Piacenza and Kilmore, and the archdeacon of Ardagh. Mandate to collate and assign to Donald Oqueorgan, clerk, of the diocese of Kilmore, the rectory, without cure, value not exceeding 5 marks, so long void that there is no certain knowledge of the manner of its voidance, of the parish church of SS. Wygyr and Wulstan (?) (Wltani), Killincheir alias Mullachlaydidy, in the said diocese, which church, although it has a rector, is governed by a perpetual vicar who has the cure of the parishioners. Vite etc.
7 Id. March. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 47d.)	To John Possewyke, rector of the chapel of St. Mary, Ben[e]tisbrige, in the diocese of Ossory. Collation and provision of the said chapel, without cure, value not exceeding 25 marks, which, with the parish church of St. Columba the Abbot, Clainmore, in the diocese of Armagh, Nicholas Alhart and he have resigned to the pope for purpose of exchange. He is to acquire no right in the chapel from the present collation, unless he and Alhart had a right in church and chapel at the time of the resignations. Apostolice sedis.

Mandate to collate and assign to Florence Omaclymnayn, clerk, of the said diocese—who lately had papal dispensation, as the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure, after which he was tonsured—the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 4 marks, of Killglas, so long void, by the death of Alan Mercscallagi, that its collation has lapsed by the Lateran statutes to the apostolic see. Mandate to collate and assign to Nicholas Vale, clerk, of the diocese of Meath—who lately received papal dispensation, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure—the rectory, of lay patronage, value not exceeding 10 marks, of Hachyr in the said diocese, so long void, by the death of William Edward, that its collation has lapsed by the Lateran statutes to the apostolic see. Mandate, motu proprio, to collate and assign to William Wellis, perpetual vicar of Hameldon in the diocese of Winchester, S.T.M., the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 40 marks, of Kynsale in the diocese of Cork, void by the death of Richard Went; notwithstanding that he holds the said vicarage, with which he is hereby dispensed to hold that of Kynsale for two years, within which period he is to resign one of them for another benefice compatible with the remaining one; otherwise he is to resign Hameldon. Mandate to collate and assign to Patrick Maccassirrlaych, priest, of the diocese of Tuam, the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 5 marks, of Addruguyl in the said diocese, void because Maurice Bared alias Brechnach has obtained by authority of the ordinary and held therewith for a year and more the perpetual vicarage of Meycindfilead in the same diocese. Kal. Feb. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 116d.)	To the bishops of Piacenza and Clogher, and Patrick Magynd, canon of Dromore. Mandate to collate and assign to Comedinus Ogiorfan, perpetual vicar of St. Patrick's, Scyric, in the diocese of Connor—who lately had papal dispensation, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure, after which he was ordained priest and obtained the said vicarage by authority of the ordinary—the rectory of St. Colmanelus, Acheochaill, in the same diocese, value not exceeding 12 marks, void by the death of John Oneill. Comedinus is hereby dispensed, notwithstanding his said illegitimacy, to hold the rectory, upon obtaining which he is, as he has offered, to resign the said vicarage. Vite etc.

Mandate to collate and assign to Gillibert Oclerrg, priest, of the diocese of Elphin, if found fit in Latin, the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 4 marks, of Lochayn in the diocese of Killaloe, void because the late John Yogayn held it for a year and more without having himself ordained priest and without dispensation. Mandate to collate and assign to Odo Okeandubayn, clerk, of the diocese of Killala—who lately had papal dispensation, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure—the rectory of Tirelach Omaychyn alias Crychfearthuy alias Fyrsyuiy in the diocese of Tuam, value not exceeding 8 marks, so long void that there is no certain knowledge of the manner of its voidance. Mandate to collate and assign to Luke Oqueogan, clerk, of the diocese of Kilmore, if found fit, the rectory, without cure and value not exceeding 4 marks, of St. Patrick's, Drumduyn alias Macharunbarr, in the said diocese, so long void that there is no certain knowledge of the manner of its voidance. Dignum arbitramur.
Ibid.	To the archdeacon of Kilmore. Mandate to collate and assign to Maurice Macgillavanaeim, archdeacon of Ardagh, who keeps hospitality after the manner of the country, if found fit, the rectory, without cure and value not exceeding 6 marks, so long void that there is no certain knowledge of the manner of its voidance, of St. Echich, Killglais, in the diocese of Ardagh, which church, although it has a rector, is governed by a perpetual vicar having the cure of the parishioners; notwithstanding that he holds the said archdeaconry, value not exceeding 8 marks. Mandate to collate and assign to Henry Maccorcrayn, clerk, of the diocese of Killaloe, the rectory of Byrrad in the said diocese, of lay patronage, value not exceeding 15 marks, void because Donatus Oheagayn held it for a year and more without having himself ordained priest and without dispensation. Mandate to receive, for this time only, from Thomas Osyredean, clerk, the resignation which he proposes to make of his perpetual benefice without cure called the rectory of Kedy, which is not in any church and whose value does not exceed 6 marks, in the diocese of Kilmore, and to collate and assign it to John Osyredean, clerk, of that diocese, if found fit after examination, who lately had dispensation by authority of the ordinary, as son of the said Thomas, then unmarried, and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all minor orders and hold a benefice without cure, after which he received the tonsure. Mandate to collate and assign to Maurice Ochatham, canon of Derry, the rectory of the parish church of Dirumcoos alias de Roa, called a comorbanship (corbania), in the diocese of Derry, of lay patronage, value not exceeding 30 marks, so long void by the death of John Mecchaidhg that by the Lateran statues its collation has lapsed to the apostolic see. Mandate to collate and assign to Malachy Macaedha, clerk, of the diocese of Derry—who lately had papal dispensation, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure, and who has obtained no benefice—the rectory of Tearmandcumayn in the diocese of Armagh, value not exceeding 16 marks, void because Maurice Ocaissidi obtained, and held with it for two years and more against the canons, the rectory of Cluaynfiachna in the same diocese. Mandate to collate and assign to Cornelius Oharrinheadhaidh, clerk, of the diocese of Derry—who lately had papal dispensation, as the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman related in the second and third degrees of affinity, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure—the rectory of Ardfracha (sic) in the said diocese, value not exceeding 12 marks, void and reserved for this time, because the late Peter Okearbellen obtained and held it together with his deanery of Derry, a dignity with cure, against John XXII's constitution Excrabilis. Collation and provision to him, a priest, of the still void and reserved canonry and prebend of Kylmylchon in Cashel and the perpetual vicarage of Fythard in the diocese of Cashel, anciently annexed to the said prebend, value not exceeding 15 marks, which became void and reserved to Boniface IX by his promotion, and by the consecration, under his mandate, of Thomas, bishop of Lismore, which pope died without disposing thereof, as did also Innocent VII. Vite etc.
	Concurrent mandate to the bishops of Piacenza and Emly and the abbot of Inishlounaght (de Suryo) in the diocese of Lismore. Vite etc.
1406. 14 Kal. Jan. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 221.)	To the bishops of Piacenza, Limerick, and Emly. Decree as above, f. 2d, and for the same reason, giving retrospective force to the collation granted by Innocent VII, on 10 Kal. July anno 2 [1406], to Philip Ohaylle, clerk, of the diocese of Cloyne, of the canonry and prebend of Culeueny in Cloyne, value not exceeding 10 marks, void by the death of Robert de Rupe, notwithstanding that Pope Innocent had already made provision to him of the canonry and prebend of Balaghach in the same church, which provision was to become null upon his obtaining possession of the above. Ibid. (f. 225.)	To Eudo la Zouche, archdeacon of Huntyngdon, D.C.L. Decree as above, f. 2d, and for the same reason, giving retrospective force to the reservation and collation made to him, of noble race, by Innocent VII, on Id May anno 2 [1406], of the canonry and prebend of Thame in Lincoln, value not exceeding 300 marks, which were expected to become void by the promotion, made by pope Innocent, and by the approaching consecration of Nicholas, [now] bishop, then elect, of London, and which have become void by the said promotion and by the said consecration performed by mandate of that pope. The reservation and collation were granted notwithstanding that he had had papal dispensation to hold with his said archdeaconry, which is a dignity with cure, one other incompatible benefice, even if a parish church or an elective dignity, major in a cathedral or metropolitan, or principal and unique in a collegiate church, personatus or office, and to resign both, simply or for exchange, as often as he pleased, and to hold instead for life two similar or dissimilar incompatible benefices, after which dispensation he obtained the archdeaconry of Sudbury in Norwich, also a dignity with cure, and held both archdeaconries, value not exceeding 350 marks; notwithstanding also that he was holding, as he still does, another canonry and prebend in Lincoln, which latter, upon obtaining possession of the said canonry and prebend of Thame, he was to resign; and notwithstanding that pope Innocent had granted him provision of a canonry with expectation of a prebend of York. Mandate to collate and assign to Nicholas Odubgilla, perpetual vicar of Ardrachayn in the diocese of Clonfert—who is, he says, of ducal race, has studied canon law for some time, and has had papal dispensation, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure—the canonry and prebend of Kyndiuara in Kilmacduagh, value not exceeding 4 marks, void by the death of Philip Obeayn (or Oleayn), notwithstanding that he holds the said vicarage, value not exceeding 8 marks, with which he is hereby dispensed to hold the said canonry and prebend. 15 Kal. April. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 242.)	To the bishops of Veszprém, Ossory and Cork. Mandate to collate and assign to Patrick Foxe, clerk, of the diocese of Ossory, scholar of canon and civil law, member of the household of Henry, bishop of Tusculum, the canonry and prebend of Culeueny in Cloyne, value not exceeding 10 marks, void by the death of Robert Roche. 1406. 14 Kal. Jan. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 248.)	To Roger Basset, treasurer of St. Davids, doctor of canon and civil law. Decree as above, f. 2d, and for the same reason, giving retrospective force to the reservation and collation made to him by Innocent VII, on Id May anno 2 [1406], of the canonry and prebend of Langford Manor in Lincoln, value not exceeding 60 marks, which were expected to become void by the terms of the same pope's reservation and collation to Eudo la Zouche [above f. 225] of the canonry and prebend of Thame in the same church, and which Zouche still holds. Pope Innocent's grant was made to Basset notwithstanding that he was holding together, by papal dispensation, his said treasurership, which is a dignity with cure and value not exceeding 80 marks, of which he was receiving nothing, and the parish church of Terrynge in the diocese of Chichester, value not exceeding 100 marks. 1407. Id. July. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 249.)	To the bishops of Piacenza, Ossory and Kildare. Mandate to collate and assign to Henry Poule, perpetual vicar of St. Kevin's, Dublin, bachelor of canon law, the canonry and prebend of the second portion of Typerkevine in Dublin, value not exceeding 8 marks, void by the death of John Fox; notwithstanding that he holds the said vicarage, the rectory, without cure, of the chapel royal in the castle of Lexlype in the diocese of Dublin, and a canonry and prebend of Kildare, value altogether not exceeding 12 marks, and a canonry and prebend of Leighlin, value not exceeding 2 marks, which last he is, as he has offered, to resign upon obtaining possession of the said canonry and prebend of Dublin. Decree as above, f. 2d, and for the same reason, giving retrospective force to the reservation and collation made to him, who is a priest, by Innocent VII, on 18 Kal Jan.anno 2 [1405], of the canonry of Salisbury and prebend of the greater part of the altar of St. Mary in that church, value not exceeding 30 marks, which became void by the death of Thomas Sudbury, papal chaplain and auditor, and which, in accordance with the reservation by Boniface IX of void benefices of papal chaplains, were reserved to that pope, who died without disposing thereof. Pope Innocent's grant was made notwithstanding that papal provision had lately been made to Neuton of the parish church of St. Nicholas Olave (Oloften) in the diocese of London, value not exceeding 20 marks [p. 38].
