So the title; and the heading within seems to indicate that they began (or the commission for them was dated) "the first day of Febr. ao vto [H. viijvi], "but they are almost all quite faded out. The first at all legible is for 2,700(?)l. to Sir Thomas Wyndam 23 May ao 6to and the last (ƒ. 78d.) on 6 May ao 6to for 240l. to Sir Edw. Belknap for coats and wages of pioneers in the Middle Ward, 18l. odd to Roger Dele and 64l. odd to John Peryn for provision of horses. | |

Payments for victuals:—(Commencement lost) "October the yere abovesayd with ... 95l. 18s. 3½d.; also for ... of [houses?] remaining at Hampton, with cellars hired for the same, and for men's wages that kept the said houses, 49l. 5s. 5d. in all, as in the said book of parcels upon this declaration examined it may appear," and for Flanders biscuits. "Victualling the King's army by sea, the 6th year of his reign." Payments for victuals for certain ships, "the w[hich were] to attend for the transporting of the French Queen into France," and victuals sent to Hull. "Wages and conduct of the army sent to sea in the 4th (?) year of the King's reign." Mestylden; Mary George, Rob. Hanson and Henry Capron; Peter Pomegarnett, John Baker (paid from 14 March); Kateryn Fortaleza, Wm. Asshwell, John Knott, master surgeon, and John Knott the younger; Mary Bryxham, Henry Dykenson (appointed by my lord Admiral's warrant and paid from 14 March); Barbara of Greenwich, Henry Woodcok; Gabriell Riall, Wm.
