Ashby versus White & al. in Error, Committee to draw up a State of the Case.
Lords Committees appointed to draw up the State of the Case upon the Writ of Error, lately depending in this House, wherein Mathew Ashby was Plaintiff, and William White, Richard Talboys, William Bell, and Richard Heydon, were Defendants, and the Proceedings of this House upon the said Writ of Error; and report to the House; and that the Lord Chief Justice of Her Majesty's Court of Queen's Bench and the Lord Chief Baron of the Exchequer do assist their Lordships:
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Saturday next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

The House being this Day moved, on the Behalf of Sir Thomas Knatchball, Respondent to the Petition and Appeal of Anne Hassell and Sir Charles Cottrel, "That a Day may be appointed, for hearing of the said Cause:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Thursday the Third Day of February next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon.
