Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for Sale of Part of the Estate of James Torr Gentleman, deceased, for Payment of his Debts; and for settling other Part thereof to the Uses therein mentioned."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Thursday the Tenth Day of February next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
L. Jermyn's Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for confirming and better Execution of Articles, and the Agreements therein contained, for the Disposition and Division of the Estate of the late Lord Jermyn among his Coheirs."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the Lords Committees above named; who are to meet at the same Time and Place.
West Riding of York, Register Bill.
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the public registering of all Deeds, Conveyances, and Wills, that shall be made, of any Honours, Manors, Lands, Tenements, or Hereditaments, within the West Riding of the County of York, after the Nine and Twentieth Day of September One Thousand Seven Hundred and Four."
The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

To acquaint them, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable John Jenkins Esquire to sell Lands, in the Counties of Durham and Northumberland, for Payment of Debts charged thereupon;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
Gesham College, &c. for Improvement of, Bill.
Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better enabling the Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London, and the Wardens and Commonalty of the Mystery of the Mercers of the said City, to pay the Charities given by the last Will and Testament of Sir Thomas Gresham."
After some Time, the House was resumed.
And the Lord Bishop of Salisbury reported, "That the Committee had considered of the said Bill; and, finding Difficulties therein, are of Opinion, that a Select Committee should be appointed, to examine the Allegations of the Bill."
To which the House agreed.
Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Allegations in the Preamble of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better enabling the Mayor, Commonalty, and Citizens of the City of London, and the Wardens and Commonalty of the Mystery of the Mercers of the said City of London, and the Lecturers of Gresham Colledge in the said City, to pay the Charities given by the last Will and Testament of Sir Thomas Gresham;" whose Lordships are to examine the Accompts, in relation to the Debts, and the raising the Monies for building The Exchange; and have Power to send for Persons, Papers, and Records; and report to the House, with all convenient Speed, how they find the Nature of those Accompts:
Their Lordships, or any Three of them; to meet To-morrow, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
