Mandate to rule his monastery, to which he has been elected, on the death of abbot Thomas, by John de Mordon, sacristan, John de Rynstede, infirmarian, Robert de Hamslape, master of novices, William de Staunton, refectorian, William de Dombelton, almoner, Richard de Abyndon, Edmund de Borewelle, Simon de Langham, and Thomas de Thurgerton, monks of the same, which election has been confirmed by the pope at the Roman court.

The vicarage is to be resigned.

To the abbot of Evesham, Richard de Thormerton, and Walter de Beggeworthe, canons of Exeter. Mandate to give to Thomas de Abetot the church of Otindon, value 22 marks. He, when under age, obtained the church of Pupplinton, in the diocese of Worcester; on resiging it, that of Strengesham, which he held for three years; then, being of full age, he obtained by exchange that of Bishinton, which he held for fifteen years, and exchanged it for Legh, which he held for five years; and lastly that of Otindon. He is to pay 100 florins in aid of the faithful against the Turks.
