This Day William Lord Lempster took the Oath of Abjuration, and subscribed the same, pursuant to the late Act of Parliament.
Singleton's Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Relief of Edward Singleton Esquire, with relation to the forfeited Estates in Ireland."
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Friday next, at Eleven a Clock; and that the Trustees for the forfeited Estates in Ireland do then attend, and bring with them the Petition to them referred in this Case, and their Report thereupon; and that Mr. Singleton's Petition, read Yesterday, be referred to the said Trustees.
Queen, and Church of Windsor, Exchange of Lands, Bill.
The Lord Viscount Longueville reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for confirming a Purchase made by Her Majesty, and an Exchange between Her Majesty and the Dean and Canons of the King's Free Chapel within the Castle of Windsor," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.
Union between England and Scotland, Bill for Commissioner to treat about.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for enabling Her Majesty to appoint Commissioners, to treat for an Union between the Kingdoms of England and Scotland."
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Saturday next, at Eleven a Clock; and all the Lords summoned to attend.
Hamilton versus Stevenson.
After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of James Hamilton, of Bangor, in the Kingdom of Ireland, Esquire, and Hans Hamilton Esquire, Grandson and Heir of Sir Hans Hamilton Knight and Baronet, deceased, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery in Ireland, the Tenth Day of February One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-eight, in a Cause wherein the said Appellants were Defendants; and an Order of the Seventh of December One Thousand Seven Hundred, and the Four and Twentieth of July One Thousand Seven Hundred and One, wherein the said Appellants were Plaintiffs, ordering the Appellants to execute Conveyances forthwith to the Respondents; and another Order, Day of December One Thousand Seven Hundred and One; as also upon the Answer of the said Hans Stevenson and Anne his Wife put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:
It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Order of the Four and Twentieth of July One Thousand Seven Hundred and One shall be reversed, and the Decree made the Tenth Day of February One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-eight before mentioned, and the subsequent Orders made in that Cause, be set aside; and that the said Cause be sent back into the Chancery in Ireland, to the Intent that both the said Causes may be brought to hearing together upon the whole Matter; and that the Appellants do procure the said Cause in which they were Plaintiffs to be brought on to be heard as soon as may be by the Course of the Court; and in case of Death of any of the Parties, the Appellants are to revive the same without Delay.
