ORDERED, That the Committee for the Bill concerning the Dutchy of Cornwall do meet To-morrow Morning, at Nine of the Clock.
Message from H. C. with Bills, and to return L. Strangford's.
A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir John Brampston; who brought up these Bills passed by the House of Commons, whereunto their Lordships Concurrence is desired:
1. To return a Bill sent down to them, to enable the Lord Strangford to sell Lands, for Payment of Debts; wherein they have made some Amendments, and desire their Lordships Concurrence to the same.
2. "An Act to empower the Chancellor of the Dutchy to grant Commissions, for taking Affidavits within the Dutchy Liberty."
3. "An Act for settling Marsh Land deferted by or gained from the Sea."
4. "An Act for Continuance of a former Act for regulating the Press."
Molin's Bill rejected.
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for restoring the Right Heirs of Michaell Moline Esquire deceased, unto the Equity of Redemption of a Mortgage of Lands in Berks, made to Sir Nathaniell Brent deceased."

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by the Earl of Ancram and others; who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for restoring of Sir Charles Stanley in Blood," whereto their Lordships Concurrence is desired."

Deeping, &c. Fens Bill.
The Lord Lucas reported, "That the Committee have considered further of the Bill concerning Deeping Fenn, and have made some Alteration in the Names of the Trustees;" which Alterations, being read Twice, were Agreed to, and the Bill is ordered to be engrossed accordingly.
ORDERED, That the Earl of Carlile, and the Earl of Petriburgh, and the Lord Gerrard of Brandon, are added to the Committee of Privileges.
Message from the King, about a Recess.
The Lord Chamberlain acquainted the House, "That he was commanded, by the King, to signify to their Lordships, That His Majesty did intend to put an End to this Session of Parliament on Tuesday come Sevennight."

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal assembled in Parliament, That Sir John Munson Baronet, Mr. Anthony Ayre Senior, Sir Francis Prudeon Knight, Doctor Boles, Sir Edward Rossiter, Thomas Hatcher Esquire, the Lady Nicholas, the Lady Anderson, Mr. Anthony Oldfeild, Mr. Edward Twyford, Mr. Vanloe, Malin Thompson, Gentlemen, Thomas Harrington Esquire, Mr. Nash, Mr. John Walter, Mrs. Peirson, Mr. Edward Bruister, and Sir William Thorold the Younger, be, and are hereby, required to appear at the Bar of this House on Tuesday the 21th of this Instant February, at Ten of the Clock in the Morning, to give Evidence of their Knowledge in the Cause then and there to be heard between Sir Rob't Carr Knight and Dame Mary Carr, Wife of Sir Rob't Carr Baronet, upon a Bill and Petition. Committee to search Precedents concerning Bills beginning in either House relating to Judicature.
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That it is referred to the Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Privileges of the Peers of this Realm and Lords of Parliament, to send for and examine Records, and to give an Account to this House how they find the Matter of Fact in Precedents in respect of the Beginning of Bills (in which Judicature is concerned) in either House of Parliament. The Committee to meet on this Business on Wednesday next, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon.
D. of York, Privilege. Sir H. Middleton his Gentleman Usher arrested.
Upon Oath made at the Bar of this House, by John Barcrost Esquire, "That Sir Hugh Middleton Baronet, Gentleman Usher in Ordinary to his Royal Highness the Duke of Yorke, was arrested, by Thomas Starkey Bailiff and his Tenants, at the Suit of Robert Gilbert, by the Instigation of John Reeve Solicitor, during the Sitting of Parliament, and detained in Custody till he was forced to pay the Money, notwithstanding they knew him to be the Servant to his Royal Highness as aforesaid:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal assembled in Parliament, That the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, or his Deputy, shall forthwith attach the Bodies of the said Thomas Starkey, Robert Gilbert and John Reeve, and bring them in safe Custody to the Bar of this House; and for so doing, this shall be a sufficient Warrant.
