Micklethwait's Bill.

The Earl of Dorsett reported, "That the Committee have considered of the Bill for confirming an Act to enable Joseph Micklethwait to sell Land, for Payment of his Father's Debts; and their Lordships think it sit to pass, with a small Amendment:"

Which, being read Twice, was Agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed with the said Amendment:

Bp of Chichester's Privilege.

Whereas Thomas Chadwell, by Order of this House, was committed to The Gatehouse Prison in Westm. for speaking very scandalous and opprobrious Words against the Lord Bishop of Chichester, a Member of this House:

Chadwell to be brought to the Bar.

It is this Day ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Keeper of the said Gatehouse Prison, or his Deputy, shall bring the said Thomas Chadwell unto the Bar of this House on Thursday the 16th Day of this Instant February, at Ten of the Clock in the Morning: And this Order shall be his sufficient Warrant in that Behalf.

Bill for taking away Damage Clear.

Whereas the Earl of Denbigh hath this Day put in a Claim, on the Behalf of himself and others the Coheirs of Edward late Earl of Bath, to the Forest or Chace of Roach, alias Neroch, in the County of Somersett; for the confirming of the Disafforestation whereof, there is a Bill now depending in this House:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That no further Proceedings shall be made upon the said Bill, before such Time as the Counsel of the said Earl of Denbigh and other the said Coheirs shall be heard at the Bar concerning the same.

Highways and Streets Bill, and for regulating Hackney Coaches.

Sir R. Care and Hume versus Philips.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Cause upon the Petition of Sir Rob't Carr and Anne Hume Spinster, and the Answer of Fabian Phillips Esquire thereunto, which should have been heard on Wednesday the 15th, is hereby appointed to be heard on Thursday the 16th Day of this Instant February, at Ten of the Clock in the Morning, at the Bar of this House; whereof both Parties are to take Notice, to the End they may come prepared accorcordingly.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Mr. Anthony Bromadge and his Wife, Mr. John Tissard, and Mr. Grissin Bodardo, shall personally appear at the Bar of this House, on Thursday the 16th Day of this Instant February, at Ten of the Clock in the Morning, to give in their Testimony, as Witnesses, in a Cause depending before this House, between Sir Rob't Carr, Mrs. Anne Hume Plaintiffs, by Petition, against Fabian Phillips: And hereof they may not fail, as the contrary will be answered to this House.

Lenthall versus Skynner, in Error.

This Day the Lord Chief Justice of the King's Bench, in the usual Manner, brought in a Writ of Error, between Lenthall Plaintiff, and Skynner Defendant.
