Upon Complaint made to this House, by the Earl of Berks, "That Monsieur Godfrey Depremont, a French Merchant, hath spoken scandalous Words, in the City of London, or the Suburbs thereof, against his Lordship:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That it be referred to the Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Privileges of the Peers of this Realm and Lords of Parliament, to examine such Witnesses as his Lordship shall produce, for proving the said scandalous Words, at their next Sitting; and thereupon their Lordships are to make Report unto this House.

Adjourn.
