Order to stay the Waste in Bow Park.

ORDERED, That there be a Stop against cutting of Timber and Wood, in The Bow Parke, in the County of Wilts, and preventing of any other Waste; and no Timber or Wood already cut shall be carried away; and that Mr. Earnley, Mr. Pleadwell of Mudgwell, Mr. Tindall of Kinton, Doctor Quy of Malmsbury, be Commissioners to see this Order put into Execution.

House to wait on the King, to thank Him for His Declaration.

ORDERED, That this whole House in a Body shall wait upon His Majesty, to give Him humble Thanks, for His Gracious Favour and Offer of Pardon in His Majesty's Declaration; and to let His Majesty know, that the Peers humbly accept thereof: And the Lord Chamberlain is appointed by the House presently to wait upon His Majesty, to know what Time His Majesty will please to appoint for this House to wait upon Him.

Burley's Petition.

Upon reading the Petition of Eliz. Burley Widow, whose Husband at Winchester was arraigned and executed as a Traitor:

It is ORDERED, To be referred to the Committee for Petitions; and Witnesses to be sent for and heard, and afterwards Report to be made to this House.

Viscount Mordent is added to the Committee for Privileges.

Prayers to be used in the House.

ORDERED, That the Additions to the Prayers read in this House are referred to the Committee for Privileges, who are to consider of the Form thereof, and report the same to this House.

Sir A. George's Petition.

Upon reading the Petition of Sir Arthur Gorge:

It is ORDERED, To be left to the proper Remedy in other Courts.

Private Petitions.

ORDERED, That when any Petitions are brought into this House, which are proper to be relieved in any other Court of Law or Equity, the Lord Chancellor is desired to put the House in Mind of their former Order in this Kind.

Order concerning Waltham Forest.

ORDERED, That there be a Stop made of cutting any Wood or Timber, in the Forest of Waltham and Wallwood, in the County of Essex; and that no Wood or Timber already cut shall be carried; and that Commissioners be appointed to see this Order put into Execution, Sir Wm. Hicks, Sir Henry Wroth, Charles Maynard, John Wroth, Mr. Richard Cooper the Elder, Mr. Holcraft.

Standing Orders to be read.

ORDERED, That the Roll of Standing Orders of this House shall be read To-morrow Morning.

E. of Derby and Count. of Derby, concerning the Isle of Man.

The Earl of Pembrooke reported from the Committee for Petitions, to whom was referred the Consideration of Difference between the Earl of Derby and the Countess his Mother, concerning the Title to the Isle of Man, "That the Committee chose rather to try how an Agreement might be made between them, rather than to have the Business proceeded in a legal Way; and their Lordships found both Parties very inclined to Reconciliation this Way; and accordingly an Agreement by Consent is made between them, and is ingrossed, and signed and sealed under their Hands and Seal."

Which good Office of the Lords Committees the House approved of.

Marquis of Winton and L. St. John.

ORDERED, That it be recommended to the Lords Committees for Petitions, to endeavour the making an Agreement by Consent between the Marquis of Winton and his Son the Lord St. John, in the Matters of Difference between them; which is referred to that Committee.

Message from the King, for the House to attend Him.

The Lord Chamberlain acquainted the House, "That His Majesty is pleased that this House wait upon Him presently, at Whitehall."

The Lord Chancellor was appointed to deliver to His Majesty the Sense of this House.

ORDERED, That the Earl of Cleveland be added to the Committee for Privileges and Petitions.

Order to stay the Waste in Waltham Forest.

Upon Information given this Day to the House, "That there is great Waste committed, in the Forest of Waltham and Wallwood, in the County of Essex, by cutting, felling, and carrying away, Timber and other Wood, out of the said Forest and Wood:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords in Parliament assembled, That there shall be no more Waste made, by cutting or felling any more Timber or Wood in the said Forest or Wood; nor that any Timber or Wood already cut shall be taken or carried away from off the Premises, until His Majesty's Pleasure shall be further signified therein: And it is hereby especially recommended to Sir Will. Hickes, Sir Henry Wroth, Charles Maynard, John Wroth, Mr. Ric. Cooper the Elder, Mr. Holecraft, jointly or severally, to see this Order (fn. 1) put in Execution, for the Service of His Majesty, and the Preservation of Timber in those Parts; and in case Obedience be not yielded hereunto, that Information be given to this House thereof, that such further Course may be taken therein as shall be meet.

Adjourn.
