What remains in Devon there is no manner of account of, but the quantity must be but small.
Upon considering the above state my Lords direct the [Principal] Officers of the Mint to make publication that 500 tons of tin will be exposed to sale by inch of candle at 2l. 10s. 0d. per hundredweight and that after the disposal of this quantity no more shall be sold within the space of three months.
[My Lords request] Sir Isaac Newton and Dr. Fouquiere to prepare an advertisement [as to the above sale] to be inserted in the Gazette on Saturday and the Daily Courant.
[My Lords order] Mr. Lowther to pay the fees of the warrant &c. for 800l. in the name of Sir Alexander Cairnes.
Prepare a warrant for a pension of 80l. per an. [to be payable] by Mr. Clayton to Benjamin Tyers, which his Majesty is pleased to grant him in consideration of the services performed by him in the time of the late Rebellion.

[My Lords order] Mr. Colby, [one of the] Commissioners for Transports, to provide all things necessary for the transportation of the 200 Wurtembergers and Palatines mentioned in a list transmitted to my Lords by Lord Sunderland pursuant to his Majesty's command and for all such others of the said poor [Palatines &c.] as will go for Holland, [such transport to be] at the easiest and cheapest rates. My Lords direct 10s. per head to be allowed them for their provisions in their voyage and 10s. more to be paid to each of them at their arrival at Rotterdam.
The list and a copy of Lord Sunderland's letter is to be sent to Mr. Colby with these instructions.

Mr. Aislabie [Treasurer of the Navy] comes in and lays before my Lords a memorial for 85,025l. 17s. 6½d. to answer the service of the Navy; whereupon my Lords order 20,000l. in part to be issued out of loans now in the Exchequer on the Duties on Malt anno 1717; and that the remaining 65,025l. 17s. 6½d. be negotiated between the said Mr. Aislabie and the Earl of Lincoln in manner following, viz. 65,025l. 17s. 6½d. is to be issued out of the like loans unto the Earl of Lincoln, who is immediately to pay the same over unto the said Mr. Aislabie upon his transferring to the said Earl in lieu thereof a like sum out of the [annuities] stock that he (Mr. Aislabie) is possessed of for the use of the public in the Bank and upon which there is payable an annuity after the rate of 4 per cent. per an. [under clauses 21 and 22 of the Act 3 Geo. I, c. 7]; the said stock to remain in the hands of the Earl of Lincoln to attend [its application to] such services as my Lords shall direct hereafter.
