Treasury warrant to same to pay Charles Tregea, officer of the Customs at St. Agnes in Padstow port, 40l. as reward for seizing in Sept. last at St. Agnes a ship and cargo (viz. the Elizabeth of Ilfracombe laden with brandy which was run and seized on shore), which ship was forcibly carried away and himself very much abused and wounded by Joseph Donithorne and a mob of tinners, and the said Donithorne was convicted for it at the last Assizes held for Co. Cornwall and fined 200l., which has since been paid to Mr. Harcourt, Master of the Crown Office.

Thomas Hughes 100l. as reward for his services at the late fire near the Customs House in Thames Street, where he was instrumental in saving the said Customs House and the warehouses thereunto belonging by adventuring himself into an house next adjoining and blowing it up after it was actually on fire, as is certified by Sir William Humphrys, then Lord Mayor, and Sir Randolph Knipe, then Sheriff of London.
Prefixing: report dated May 15 last by said Commissioners on the petition of said Hughes. He deserves reward for his services as above.
