April 2. Same to the Customs Commissioners to visit the baggage of Monsieur Lindeneau, the Danish Minister, at his house in Leicester Fields to-morrow, he being upon his departure hence; and to pass same Customs free. As soon as the Treasury Lords meet again you shall have the necessary warrant for this; and for the Duchess of Modena's goods. Out Letters (Customs), p. 202.
Money order for 712l. to Richard Kent and Charles Duncombe in repayment of so much lent by them into the Exchequer this day: with 6 per cent. interest. Order Book XXXVIII, p. 101.
April 3. Letter of disposition from the Secretary of the Treasury to the Auditor of the Receipt for the following issues out of such Excise money as shall be paid into the Exchequer this week. Disposition Book I. p. 28.

Money warrant for 451l. 17s. 3d. to Sir Edward Griffin, kt., Treasurer of the Chamber, upon account for the extraordinary services of his Office. The Treasury Lords to the Duke of Ormonde, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. We should have acknowledged yours of the 10th ult. before, but most of our number have been out of town upon occasion of the King's being at Newmarket, since which this is the first time of our meeting.
