Edwards seized brandy at Yarmouth: the officer of the Customs as

came into port: it was a small cask and seized after imported:
there was another seizure of brandy by the Excise Officers near
Ramsgate now lockt up by officers both of Customs and Excise.
[By my Lords' directions] the Customs Commissioners will give
order for gauging such seizures upon notice from the Excise Commissioners; and for preserving of them. |
