assignment of fuelwood they are to give convenient notice to one
of the deputy surveyors of woods and to the woodward of New
Forest of the time and place where such assignments are to be made
so that they may be present and view same. And the woodward of
New Forest is hereby directed for the time being to make assignment
of fuelwood for the use of the respective keepers of the several walks
in said forest in such quantities as shall be reasonable and necessary.

pallazadoes be taken down and the wall made good as formerly;
and also that none of the houses within the said park be allowed to
sell ale, wine or other entertainment or be any ways used as public
houses. |

A brick house has been many years erected on the wall of
the said park by the road to Hyde Park, which house had
formerly only a little hole towards the said road, [but] of
late years made large enough for persons that lived therein
to go in and out of the house by the help of a ladder; but
now the same is altered and a door made into the road and
a small arch turned at the foot of the door that levels the
passage to the road. The house is now uninhabited. |

On the west side within the gate of the park over against
Hyde Park gate is a range of buildings of nine small rooms,
the height whereof is equal to the coping of the wall;
which building is in custody of Crosby the gate keeper
and is a public alehouse, but alleged to be for the
conveniency of the Foot Guard who have a small guard
house within the park against the said keeper's buildings. |

On the side of the Park next Arlington Street Lady Arran
has a door and steps into the Park; Sir William Brownlow
the like; Sir Charles Orby a door; Mr. Smith a door;
Lord Derwentwater and Lord Cholmondly each a door;
Lord Guilford a door and rubbish thrown into the Park;
Lord Kingston a door and pump in the Park; Col. Fitz
Patrick a door; — Rossington a door; Mr. Fronteine
two doors; Lord Berkeley a door; Mr. Harris, Mr. Smith
a door and the wall pulled down and pallazadoes put up;
Lady Orrery a door; two links let into the park from
Rossington's buildings; a lodge built about four years
since with a coal hole and bog house and a pair of great
gates that lets into Rossington's Buildings in St. James's;
this lodge &c. stands within the park but has no door into
the park but some low windows; the said lodge and gates
are said to be erected by the late Queen's command for
conveniency of the Ice Houses but are seldom opened,
the man that has the custody of it sells ale therein. |

A piece of ground walled into the house of Lady Thanet, the
said ground being 18 foot by 28 foot; at Mr. Heneage's
the wall pulled down and pallazadoes put up. |

At the Equerries' lodging at St. James's a door and a piece of
ground enclosed with a pallazadoe about 4½ foot by 25
foot. |
|
Many of the buildings erected on this side of the park have
raised their ground [so] that great weights of earth bear
up[on] the wall in divers places and will probably force
it in some little time. |
|
At Arlington Gate a building was raised and considerably
augmented by Mr. Chasell the gate keeper there but the
same is now pulled down and altered to the copeing of the
wall; what remains is a public house. |
|
Under the wall that belongs to the front of Arlington House
a little piece of ground is lately fenced in with a hedge
whereon is built a lodging room, a stables and two places
for coal and wood but the same is not so high as the park
wall, is now in custody of a servant of the Earl of Bath
but his lordship says those buildings shall be pulled down;
as also an apple shed within Arlington Gate. |

On the side of the Park towards Downing Street Mrs. Chudd
has a door and lets lodgings; Mrs. Bridges a door and lets
lodgings; Lady Windham a door; Duchess of Norfolk a
door and almost every house a door in the range of buildings
that looks to Story's house over against the Bird Cage;

The Earl of Bath alleges that the doors or conveniences to
persons of quality have been allowed by command of the
late Queen that all such persons should be permitted

Office no Forms of Prayer, Proclamations, printed Orders of Council,
Speeches, Votes (bound or unbound) be delivered to the said Office
nor any printed Acts of Parliament save only at the end of each
Session for the service of the Office in General. That immediately
upon the passing of any Land Tax you provide and deliver the usual
number of copies to the Agents for Taxes with all speed and at the
end of the Session furnish the said Agents with one book of all the
Acts passed in that session and the King to be at no further charge
for prints in that office. That the whole charge of Acts &c. usually
delivered to the Lord Chancellor, Secretaries of State, Lord Privy
Seal, Lord Chief Justices, Lord Chief Baron, Master of the Rolls,
Mr. Blathwaite and the Attorney and Solicitor General be wholly
taken off and saved to the King. That the King be at no charge for
prints in the Crown Office except the Proclamations which are sent
