This Day Jonathan Lord Bishop of Exeter took the Oaths, and made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That To-morrow, at Eleven of the Clock, this House shall be called; and that such Lords who are in Town, or within Ten Miles thereof, that do not then attend, shall be taken into Custody; and also that the House shall be called over again before it rises; and if any Lord present at the First Calling be then absent, he shall be taken into Custody.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Cause, wherein John Browne and Thomas Sandes are Appellants, and Sir Robert Dashwood, John Perry, Sir Samuel Dashwood, Edward Noell, Executors of George Dashwood deceased, Edward Buckley, and others, Respondents, on Monday the Fourteenth Day of this Instant December, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Resolution from H. C. for barring Members from Privilege in Suits, except while the Parliament fits.
The Order of the Thirtieth last past was read, for taking into Consideration the Subject-matter of the Conference with the House of Commons that Day, in relation to Privilege.
And their Resolution being also read;
It was proposed, "That no Lord of this House, during the Continuance of this Parliament, shall have any Privilege, against any Person whatsoever, in any Suit or Proceedings in any Court of Law or Equity, for any longer Time than the House shall be actually sitting."
And, after Debate thereupon,
The previous Question was put, "Whether this Question shall be now put ?"
It was Resolved in the Negative.
Bill to be brought in, for the Ease of the Subject, with respect to Privilege.
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That, on Thursday next, this House shall consider of Heads for a Bill to be brought in, for the greater Ease of the Subject, in relation to Privilege of Parliament.
