Bishop of Carlisle excused.

A Letter from the Lord Bishop of Carlisle was read, desiring to be excused his Attendance.

To which the House agreed, being satisfied of his Inability to attend.

State of the Nation.

The Order being read, for considering further of the State of the Nation;

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee to consider further of the State of the Nation.

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Ferrers reported, "That the Committee desire another Day may be appointed, for the House to be put into a Committee, to consider of the State and Condition of the Bank of England."

State of the Bank.

To which the House agreed; and ORDERED, That, on Saturday the Twelfth Instant, this House shall be put into a Committee, to consider of the State and Condition of the Bank of England.

Adjourn.
