PRAYERS.

Commissioners of the Great Seal heard, about not obeying the Order in the Cause Dod & al. versus Borrows.

After hearing Sir Anthony Keck and Sir William Rawlingson, Two of the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal, pursuant to an Order of this House, upon the Petition of Anne Dod, Magdalen Johnson, Robert Colbach and Anne his Wife, Sarah Dod, Robert Cooper and Prisilla his Wife; complaining, "That the Lords Commissioners of the Great Seal have refused to obey the Order of this House of the 30th of April last:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners attend, with their Counsel, at the Bar of this House, on Tuesday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and that the Speaker acquaint them with what the Lords Commissioners have said.

Pope versus De Casseris.

ORDERED, That this House will hear the Cause wherein Charles Pope is Plaintiff, and Francis Decassaris is Defendant, on Thursday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Bill for securing Their Majesties against the late K. James.

ORDERED, That the Committee appointed to draw a Clause, to be inserted in the Bill for securing the Government against the late King James, shall be, and is hereby, revived; to meet on Tuesday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon; and to report that Day; and the House to be put into a Committee on the said Bill.

Militia of London.

After hearing several Persons this Day, upon the Business of the Lieutenancy and Militia of the City of London:

It is ORDERED, That the further Consideration of that Matter shall be, and is hereby, adjourned to Thursday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Message from H. C. that they agree to the Hudson's Bay Company Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Sir Robert Napper and others:

Who returned the Bill for confirming the Letters Patents for the Government of Hudson's Bay, which their Lordships sent down with some Amendments; to which the Commons do agree.

White Paper Manufactory Bill.

The House was put into a Committee, to hear Counsel of several Persons, what they could offer against the passing of the Bill for making of White Paper.

The Bill was read.

And, after the Counsel had been heard, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Rochester gave the House an Account of what was alledged by the Counsel on both Sides; and told them, "That the Committee, after some Consideration, did desire that the House will please to appoint a Select Committee, to consider of the Bill and the Clauses in the Letters Patents together; and report their Opinions to the House."

Hereupon the House named these Lords following:
