E. of Montagu & al. versus E. of Bath & al.

After hearing Counsel further this Day, upon the Petition of the Earl of Montagu and others, as also for the Earl of Bathe and others therein concerned:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lord Keeper shall report what was offered by Counsel on either Side thereupon, on Monday the Twelfth Day of this Instant February, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Judges reprimanded for not attending.

Then the Lord Keeper, according to the Order of the House Yesterday, reprimanded the Judges, for not attending the House daily as they ought, in these Words; (videlicet,)

"I am commanded, by the House, to tell you, you have the Honour to be the Assistants here; and the House takes Notice of your great Negligence in your Attendance: You have had sometimes Warning given you, though not with so much Solemnity as I am directed now to do it. If this Fault be not amended for the future, the House will proceed with greater Severity against you."
