This Day Thomas Lord Colepeper took the Oaths of Supremacy and Allegiance, and subscribed the Declaration against Transubstantiation, pursuant to the Act for preventing the Dangers which may happen from Popish Recusants. The Witnesses were sworn, and examined by the Lord Chancellor, as to the Truth of his Lordship's Certificate concerning his receiving of the LORD'SSupper.
Gresham's Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for vesting the Rectory of Westerham, in the County of Kent, in Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of the Debts of Edward Gresham Esquire."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to these Lords following:
Their Lordships, or any Five; to meet To-morrow, at Three of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Prince's Lodgings; and to adjourn as they please.

The Lord Privy Seal reported from the Committee, the Amendments made in the Bill for burying in Woollen.
The Amendments were read Twice; but the Debate adjourned till To-morrow Morning.
Villiers' Claim to the Title of Viscount Purbeck.
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Cause concerning the Claim made to the Title of Viscount Purbeck shall be finally heard on Wednesday next, at which Time the Counsel for the Duke of Buckingham and for the Petitioner are to offer what they think fit; and at the same Time, the Counsel for the Petitioner is to be prepared to speak to the Point of Law, Whether the Fine of his Ancestor (fn. 1) hath barred his Demand; and at the same Time, Mr. Attorney General is to conclude with his Observations upon the Fact, and his Argument upon the Law.
Process against him in Courts below to be stayed.
ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all Suits, Arrests, Attachments, and other Process, in the Courts below, against the Person who claims the Title of Viscount Purbeck, be stayed till this House shall give Judgement concerning his said Claim.
