Small Tithes Bill.
The House was adjourned into a Committee, to read the Bill for the better Recovery of Small Tithes.
The House was resumed.
The Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall be committed?"
It was Resolved in the Negative.
Then the Question being put, "Whether this Bill shall be read the Third Time?"
It was Resolved in the Negative.
Report of the Conference on the Fishing Bill.
The House of Commons being ready in the Painted Chamber for the Conference, the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and the Lords went to the Conference; which being ended, the House was resumed.
And the Lord Privy Seal gave the House this Account: "That the Managers at the Conference have obeyed the Commands of the House; and have delivered the Bill for the Preservation of Fishing in several Rivers of this Kingdom, with the Amendments, to the House of Commons."
Winsteed Manor Bill.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for discharging the Manor of Winsteed, in the County of Yorke, from a Settlement in Taille, and charging other Manors and Lands in the County of Lyncolne, of a greater Value, with the same Uses."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to these Lords following:
Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet at Three of the Clock this Afternoon, in the Prince's Lodgings; and to adjourn as they please.
Poll Bill, and for prohibiting French Commodities.
Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, "An Act for raising Money, by Poll and otherwise, to enable His Majesty to enter into an actual War against the French King, and prohibiting several French Commodities."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill is committed to a Committee of the whole House; to sit in Consideration of it on Monday Morning next.
