L. Berkeley takes the Oaths.

This Day George Lord Berkeley of Berkeley took the Oaths of Supremacy and Allegiance, and subscribed the Declaration against Transubstantiation, pursuant to the Act for preventing the Dangers which may happen from Popish Recusants; his Witnesses being first sworn at the Bar, and examined by the Lord Keeper, as to the Truth of his Certificate concerning his Lordship's receiving the Sacrament of the LORD'S Supper.

Bill to explain the one concerning Popish Recusants.

ORDERED, That the Committee for the Bill for Explanation of an Act for preventing the Dangers which may happen by Popish Recusants, being now sine Die, shall meet this Afternoon, at Three of the Clock.

Trinity the Less, German Church, Bill.

ORDERED, That the Bill concerning the Augustan Congregation shall be read To-morrow Morning.

ORDERED, That this House do sit To-morrow Morning, at Nine of the Clock, to read Bills.

Consideration of the King's Speech.

ORDERED, That this House will proceed in the Consideration of His Majesty's Speech To-morrow Morning.

Protests, Manner of entering them.

The House was adjourned into a Committee during Pleasure, to take into Consideration the Manner of entering Protestations.

After a long Debate, the House was resumed.

And it is ORDERED, That this Debate is adjourned, to be resumed on Monday Morning next.

It is this Day ORDERED, by &c. That no Report from any Committee shall intervene, to interrupt the Business appointed for the Day.

Taylor to be punished for Blasphemy.

Whereas, by Order of this House, dated the 14th of May last, John Taylor was committed to the Hospital of Bedlam, alias Bethlem, as a Madman, for Blasphemous Words by him uttered, and owned at the Bar of this House; and, upon Information from the Physician belonging to the said Hospital, That the said John Taylor is not mad, it was, by Order of the 20th of the said Month of May, referred to the Judges, to consider how, and in what Manner, the said John Taylor is to be proceeded with, and make Report:

It is this Day ORDERED, That the Judges do give this House an Account of the said Reference within One Week next after the Date hereof.

Thompson King's Servant versus Purier, Privilege.

Upon the Petition of Robert Thompson Esquire, One of the Grooms of His Majesty's Privy Chamber in Ordinary; complaining, "That William Purier, by Thomas Chylde his Attorney, hath, in the Time of Privilege of Parliament, prosecuted the Petitioner and his Wife to an Outlawry, contrary to the Privilege of Parliament:"

Purier and Child sent for.

It is ORDERED, by &c. That the said William Purier and Thomas Chylde be, and are hereby, required to appear at the Bar of this House, on Monday the 15th of this Instant November, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, to answer to the said Complaint; and hereof they may not fail.

Bulkley versus Bulkley, in Error.

Whereas this House had appointed to hear the Errors argued, upon a Writ of Error depending in this House, between William Bulkley and Bartholmew Bulkley, on Monday the 15th Instant.

It is this Day ORDERED, That the said Errors shall be argued, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Wednesday the 17th of this Instant November at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; whereof both the said Parties are to take Notice, and attend accordingly.
