G. Turner's Estate.

AN ingrossed Bill, from the Lords, intituled, An Act for Payment of the Debts of George Turner Esquire, deceased, was read the First time.

Resolved, That the Bill be read a Second time.

Frere's Estate.

Mr. Brewer reported from the Committee, to whom the ingrossed Bill, from the Lords, intituled, An Act for Sale of Part of the Estate of Henry Frere an Infant, to raise Money for Inning and Recovering other Parts thereof now under Water; and for Payment of Debts charged thereon; was committed; That they had examined and considered the same; and had directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendments: And he delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

A. Turner's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill, from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable the Trustees of Alice Turner Widow, and her Children, to make Sale of certain Houses and Ground in or near Lincoln's-Inn-Fields, in the County of Middlesex, during the Minority of the younger Children, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Sir Edward Norries, Mr. Lutterell, Mr. Hawtry, Mr. Cook, Mr. Goldwell, Mr. How, Mr. Brewer, Major Vincent, Mr. Slater, Mr. Lassells, Mr. Burdet, Mr. Arnold, Mr. Dryden, Mr. Clark, Mr. Smith, Colonel Holt, Mr. Hungerford, Mr. Freeman, Mr. Bowyer, Mr. Machell, Mr. Waller, Mr. Gilbert, Sir Robert Edon, Mr. Proby, Mr. Sanford, Sir John Key, Mr. Christie, Sir Robert Cotton, Mr. Pigot, Mr. Dyot, Mr. Lloyd; and all the Members that serve for the County of Middlesex, and City of Westminster: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Four a Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Hawkers and Pedlars.

Mr. Sanford reported from the Committee, to whom the Bill against Hawkers and Pedlars was committed, That they had made several Amendments to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House; and which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout; and then a Second time, one by one: And, upon the Question severally put thereupon, the same were agreed unto by the House.

A Proviso was offered to be added to the Bill, That any Person having a settled Habitation, and paying Scot and Lot, may sell Goods within Ten Miles of their Houses:

And the same was twice read.

And the Question being put, That the said Proviso be made Part of the Bill;

It passed in the Negative.

Then the Question being put, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed;

The House divided.

The Yeas go forth.

So it was resolved in the Affirmative.

Ordered, That the said Bill be read the Third time, after Twelve a Clock.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Sir William Rich have Leave to go into the Country for Three Weeks, for Recovery of his Health.

Ordered, That Mr. Norries have Leave to go into the Country for Three Weeks, upon extraordinary Occasions.

Ordered, That Sir William Stecens have Leave to go into the Country for Three Weeks, for Recovery of his Health.

Ordered, That Colonel Titus have Leave to go into the Country for Three Weeks, for Recovery of his Health.

Ordered, That Colonel Walpole have Leave to go into the Country, for Recovery of his Health.

Preventing Export of Wool, &c.

A Petition of divers Packers, in and about the City of London, was presented to the House, and read; setting forth, That by a Bill now depending in this House for the better preventing the Exportation of Wool, Fulling and Scouring Earth, by altering the Penalty; and for the better regulating the Factors in Blackwell-hall; all broad Woollen Cloth, entered at Blackwell-hall, shall be there sold upon the usual Market-Days; which, if it should pass into a Law, would not only prove destructive to the Trade of the Woollen Manufacture, but also will take away great Part of the Petitioner's Trade and Livelihood: And praying, That they may be heard, as to such Part of the Bill as concerns the Petitioners.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Petition be referred to the Committee, to whom the said Bill is committed.

London Orphans Fund.

A Petition of John Harvey, and several others, on behalf of themselves, and other Bond Creditors of the City of London, was presented to the House, and read; setting forth, That the Petitioners are Creditors, by Bond, to the City of London, for divers Sums of Money actually lent and paid for the Relief of the Orphans of the said City, and for the Support of the Government thereof; which said Sums, and Interest, are still unpaid; whereby the Petitioners are greatly impoverished: That there being a Bill now depending in this House for Relief of the Orphans of the City of London, the Petitioners pray, That they may be included in the said Bill, to have equal Satisfaction with the said Orphans.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Petition be referred to the Committee of the whole House, to whom the said Bill is committed.

Ditto.

A Petition of Elisha Patching and Patience Dod, Son and Daughter of Judith Patching Widow, was presented to the House, and read; setting forth, That Ursula Drake, the Petitioners Mother's Sister, in June 1688, lent 600l. to the Chamber of London; the Credit whereof failing the said Ursula laid it so much to Heart the 600l. being all her Dependance, that the shortly after died; and the Right of Administration came to the Petitioners Mother, who renounced to the Petitioners, on their engaging to allow her a competent Maintenance for her Life, and to take care of several of her Grandchildren: That, in case the Petitioners should not be provided for in the Act for Relief of the Orphans of the City of London, in all Probability they must lose their said Debt: And praying the Consideration of the House in the Premises.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Petition be referred to the Committee of the whole House, to whom the said Bill is committed.

London Orphans Fund.

Ordered, That the Members of this House who serve for the City of London do, before Saturday next, present to this House a List of the Debts due and owing to the several Orphans of the said City; and also a List of the several and respective Debts due, upon Bond, from the said City.

Bankrupts Estates.

Ordered, That the ingrossed Bill for the better Discovery of Bankrupts Estates, and for the more equal Distribution thereof, be read the Third time To-morrow, after Twelve a Clock.

Ways and Means.

Resolved, That this House do immediately resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supplies to be granted to their Majesties, for the Maintenance of the Fleet, and Land-Forces, for the Service of the Year 1694.

Sir Thomas Littleton reported from the said Committee, That they had come to several Resolutions; which they had directed him to report, when the House would please to receive the same.
