Earl of Thannet's Estate.
AN ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Thomas Earl of Thannet, and the Honourable Sackvile Tufton his Brother, to make a Lease of Sixty Years of Thannet-House, in the Parish of St. Botolph's, Aldersgate, to commence after the Remainder of a Term of 31 Years, now in being, was read the Second time.
Resolved, That the Bill be committed to Mr. Boyle, Mr. Bockenham, Mr. Christy, Mr. Sandford, Mr. Shackerly, Sir Tho. Pope Blunt, Mr. Dolben, Mr. Arnold, Sir John Bolles, Mr. Waller, Mr. Dyot, Mr. Slater, Mr. Hungerford, Mr. Hutchinson, Lord Digby, Mr. Gilbert, Mr. Chadwick, Mr. Fenwick, Sir William Cooper, Sir Robert Edon, Sir Gilbert Clark, Mr. England, Mr. Cooke, Sir Cha. Barington, Mr. Biddulph, Sir Wm. Honywood, Mr. Dryden, Mr. Bulkley, Colonel Lee, Mr. Burdett, Mr. Lutterell; and all the Members that serve for Kent, London, Middlesex, and Westminster: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Four of the Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.
Barrington's Estate.
Ordered, That the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Sir Charles Barrington to settle a Jointure on Dame Bridget his Wife; and to make Provision for their younger Children; be read the Third time To-morrow Morning.
Stevens' Estate.
Colonel Perry reported from the Committee, to whom the Bill for Sale of the Estate of William Stevens, deceased, for Payment of the Mortgages thereupon, and applying the Overplus for the Benefit of his Sons, was committed, That they had made some Amendments to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House; and which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were once read throughout; and then a Second time, one by one; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.
Ordered, That the Bill, with the Amendments, be ingrossed.
Holt's Estate.
Ordered, That the Report from the Committee, to whom the Bill for divesting several Securities out of Andrew Founteine Esquire, and others; and vesting the same in Trustees, for raising and paying the Money upon the said Securities; and assigning the Residue of the Estate, incumbered therewith, to Sir Charles Holt Baronet; was committed; be made upon Saturday Morning next, after Eleven a Clock.
Merchants Insurers Creditors.
An ingrossed Bill to enable divers Merchants Insurers, who have sustained many Losses by the present War with France, the better to satisfy their several Creditors, was read the Third time.
Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act to enable divers Merchants Insurers, who have sustained many Losses by the present War with France, the better to satisfy their several Creditors.
Ordered, That Mr. Waller do carry the Bill to the Lords; and desire their Concurrence thereunto.
East-India Exports.
Mr. Godolphin, according to Order, presented to the House, from the Commissioners of the Customs, an Account of the Goods and Bullion exported to the EastIndies for Ten Years, from the Year 1675, to the Year 1685.
Ordered, That the said Account do lie upon the Table until the House resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the East-India Trade.
Capiatur Fine.
An ingrossed Bill to take away the Process of the Capiatur Fine in the several Courts at Westminster was read the Third time.
Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act to take away the Process for the Capiatur Fine in the several Courts at Westminster.
Ordered, That Mr. Waller do carry the Bill to the Lords; and desire their Concurrence thereunto.
Punishing Mutiny and Desertion.
An ingrossed Bill for continuing the Act for punishing Officers and Soldiers who shall mutiny or desert their Majesties Service; and for punishing false Musters; and for Payment of Quarters; for One Year longer; was read the Third time.
An ingrossed Proviso, was offered, as a Rider, to the Bill, That the Proof of any Person's being falsely mustered may be made by Two Witnesses, before any Justice of Peace.
And the same was read Three times; and, upon the Question put thereupon, agreed to be made Part of the Bill.
An Amendment was proposed to be made in the Bill, Press * L. * after "Peace," to insert "not being an Officer in the Army:"
And the same was, upon the Question put thereupon, agreed unto by the House; and the Bill amended at the Table accordingly.
Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act for continuing the Act for punishing Officers and Soldiers who shall mutiny, or desert their Majesties Service; and for punishing false Musters; and for Payment of Quarters; for One Year longer.
Ordered, That Colonel Earle do carry the Bill to the Lords; and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Ordered, That Mr. Etterick have Leave to go into the Country for a Month, for Recovery of his Health.

Brent's Estate.
A Message from the Lords, by Sir John Franklyn and Sir John Hoskyns:
Mr. Speaker,
The Lords have passed a Bill, intituled, An Act to enable Trustees to sell Part of the Estate of Nathaniel Brent Gentleman, deceased, to raise Money for Payment of his Debts, and Maintenance of his Children, who are Infants: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
And then the Messengers withdrew.
Pressing Men for Land-Service.
The House being informed, That Robert Davyes and Michael Tooley attended, according to Order;
They were called in; and, at the Bar examined, touching the Matter of pressing Men for Land-Service, and carrying them to their Houses.
And, being withdrawn;
Ordered, That the said Michael Tooley be taken into Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, for spiriting, and keeping Men in his Custody till they pay Money.
Ordered, That Colonel Perry and Mr. Hungerford, Members of this House, and Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex, do go to the Houses of Robert Davyes, Deputy Provost-Marshal, and Michael Tooley, and examine the Persons in Custody there; and report their Examinations to this House.
Privilege.
The House being informed, That John Smith attended, according to Order, and that James Nurbury, Servant to Mr. Foley, also attended;
They were called in; and at the Bar, examined, touching the Matter of the Complaint of a Breach of Privilege committed against the said Mr. Foley, for seizing his said Servant James Nurbury in Westminster-hall, by Richard Armstrong and others, Press-masters.
And the House being informed, That the said Richard Armstrong also attended, according to Order;
He was called in; and, at the Bar, examined, touching the Matter of the said Complaint.
And then they withdrew.
And it appearing, That * Buckland, * Saunderson, Two Midshipmen of the Ship Sandwich, with Edward Devon, Richard Shelito, John Mantle, Thomas Jones, John Woodcock, and Samuel Jennings, of the Ship's Crew, were all present and assisting, when the said Nurbury was seized in Westminster-hall;
Ordered, That the said Richard Armstrong be taken into the Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, for the said Breach of Privilege.
Ordered, That the said * Buckland, * Sanderson, Edward Devon, Richard Shelito, John Mantle, Tho. Jones, John Woodcock, and Samuel Jennings, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, to answer the said Breach of Privilege.
Ordered, That * Barrow, Lieutenant of the Ship Sandwich, be summoned to attend this House forthwith.
Call of the House.
Ordered, That the Call of the House be adjourned until this Day Sevennight: And that such Members, as shall not then attend the Service of the House, not having Leave to be absent, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms.
Bankrupts Estates.
Ordered, That the ingrossed Bill for the better Discovery, and more equal Distribution, of Bankrupts Estates, be read the Third time upon Thursday Morning next, after Eleven a Clock.
Irish Forfeitures.
The House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the Bill for vesting the forfeited Estates in Ireland, in their Majesties, to be applied to the Use of the War.

Mr. Boyle took the Chair of the Committee.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.
Mr. Boyle reported from the said Committee, That they had made some Progress in the Matter to them referred; and had directed him to move, That they may have Leave to sit again.
Resolved, That this House will, upon Tuesday Morning next, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the said Bill.
Articles of Limerick and Galloway.
Resolved, That an humble Address be made to his Majesty, by such Members of this House as are of his Majesties most Honourable Privy-Council, That his Majesty will please to command, that the Articles of Limerick and Galloway be laid before this House.
Ways and Means.
Ordered, That the Report from the Committee of the whole House, to whom it was referred to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supplies to be granted to their Majesties, for the Maintenance of the Fleet, and Land-Forces, for the Service of the Year One thousand Six hundred Ninety-four, be made To-morrow Morning.
Fees of Auditors of Wales.
Ordered, That the Consideration of the Table of Fees of the Auditors of Wales; be referred to the Committee, to whom the Bill for the better Execution of Justice in Wales is committed.
