A Message from the House of Commons, by Mr. Molyneux and others:

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for strengthening the Protestant Interest of this Kingdom, by enforcing the Laws now in being against Papists;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Sir Alex. Rigby's Bill,

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to discharge Sir Alexand'r Rigby Knight from his Imprisonment; and vest his Estate and Effects in Trustees, for the Benefit of his Creditors."

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be committed to the Lords following; (videlicet,)

Whereas, by Order of this House on the First Day of this Instant June, the Petition of Joshua Morris, Ca pell Wall, John Johnson, and Francis Sayer, in Behalf of themselves and several others; praying "to be heard, by Counsel, before the last-mentioned Bill pass into a Law," was ordered to lie on the Table, till the Report of the Judges to whom the said Bill was referred should be made to this House:

Upon Motion this Day made; it is Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Consideration of the Committee aforenamed; and that the Petitioners be heard, by Counsel, before the said Committee, if they think fit.

Witnesses to attend.

Ordered, That Samuel Shepherd Esquire, Thomas Godwin Esquire, Henry Hastings Esquire, Mr. Thomas Lee, Mr. Fisher, and Mr. William Birch, do attend this House To-morrow, to be sworn, at the Bar, in order to be examined before the said Committee.

Message from H. C. to return the Highways Bill.

A Message from the House of Commons, by Mr. Archer and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for making the Laws for repairing the Highways more effectual;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to their Lordships Amendments made thereto.

Forster and Mc' Intosh, Attainder, Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Attainder of Thomas Forster Junior Esquire and Willam Mackintosb Esquire (commonly called Brigadier Mackintosh) of High Treason:"

Ordered, That the said Bill be read a Second Time on Wednesday next; and that the Witnesses to prove the Allegations of the said Bill be then heard, before this House, at the Bar.

Peace of The Highlands, to secure, Bill.

The House (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the more effectual securing the Peace of The Highlands, in Scotland."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Clarendon reported from the said Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill; and made some Amendments thereunto, which they had directed him to report, when the House will please to receive the same."

Ordered, That the Report be received on Wednesday next.

Papists to register their Estates, &c. Bill.

The Order being read, for the House to be put into a Committee this Day, to consider further of the Bill, intituled, "An Act to oblige Papists to register their Names and Real Estates:"

It was proposed, "That another Day may be appointed, for the House to be put into a Committee thereupon."

And the Question being put, "That this House do now adjourn during Pleasure, in order to be put into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of the said Bill?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Then the House accordingly was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into the said Committee.

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Clarendon reported from the said Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill, and made several Amendments thereunto; which they had directed him to report, when the House will please to receive the same."

Ordered, That the Report be received on Thursday next.
