E. Abingdon's Privilege:

A Petition of Thomas Dale, was presented to the House, and read, acknowledging himself guilty of a Breach of Privilege of this House, and of the Earl of Abingdon, touching Salt raised and deposited in a Pit called Rock Salt Pit, in Cheshire; and begging Pardon of the House, and of the said Earl, for his Offence, in regard he knew not his Lordship's Claim.

Dale pardoned.

Ordered, That in Consideration of the Petitioner's Submission to this House, and the Forgiveness of the said Earl signified to their Lordships, the Order of the Committee for Privileges, in relation to the said Dale's Attendance, be, and is hereby, discharged.

Laws continuing, Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for continuing several Laws therein mentioned, relating to Coals, Hemp, and Flax, Irish and Scotch Linen, and the Assize of Bread; and for giving Power to adjourn the Quarter Sessions for the County of Anglesea, for the Purposes therein mentioned."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendments, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. that the Lords have agreed to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Thomas Gery and Mr. Hiccocks:

To acquaint them, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, with some Amendments, whereunto they desire their Concurrence.

Palatines, Ireland, Bill:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for allowing a Time for Two Hundred and Thirteen Families of Protestant Palatines, now settled in Ireland, to take the Oaths, in order to entitle them to all the Benefits intended them by the Act of the Seventh Year of Her late Majesty's Reign, for naturalizing Foreign Protestants."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. that the Lords have agreed to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Thomas Gery and Mr. Hiccocks:

To acquaint them, that the Lords have agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Naval Stores, &c. Bill.

The House (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent Disturbances by Seamen and others; and to preserve the Stores belonging to His Majesty's Navy Royal; and also for explaining an Act for the better preventing the Embezzlement of His Majesty's Stores of War, and preventing Frauds, Cheats, and Abuses, in paying Seamen's Wages; and for the reviving and continuing an Act for the more effectual Suppression of Piracy."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Clarendon reported from the Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill; and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."

Yule Vacance in Scotland, Bill.

The House also (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for shortening the Time of the Yule Vacance, in that Part of Great Britain called Scotland."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Rosse reported from the Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill, and made some Amendments thereunto; which they had directed him to report, when the House will please to receive the same."

Ordered, That the said Report be received Tomorrow.

Princess of Wales's Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Secretary Stanhope and others:

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for enabling His Majesty to settle a Revenue for supporting the Dignity of her Royal Highness the Princess, in case she shall survive his Royal Highness the Prince of Wales;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

The said Bill was read the First Time.

Ordered, That the said Bill be read a Second Time To-morrow Morning.

Ministers Fifty new Churches, Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by the Lord Coningsby and others:

With a Bill, intituled, "An Act for making Provision for the Ministers of the Fifty new Churches, which are to be built in and about the Cities of London and Westminster and Suburbs thereof; and for re-building and finishing the Parish Church of St. Mary Woolnoth, in the said City of London;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

The said Bill was read the First Time.
