A Message to the House of Commons, by Sir Robert Rich and Dr. Bennett:
Message to the H. C. acquainting them that both Houses are to wait on His Majesty.
To give them Notice, that both Houses are appointed to wait on His Majesty this Afternoon, in The Banqueting House, at Whitehall, at Two a Clock.

The Substance of what is to be delivered to His Majesty concerning Jesuits, &c. read. E. Westmeath's Petition.
The Lord Keeper read the Substance of what he was to deliver to His Majesty at Whitehall this Afternoon, as the joint Desires of both Houses, touching Priests and Jesuits; which the House approved of.
The Petition of the Earl of Westmeath, in Ireland, was read; and Ordered to be referred to the same Committee appointed for Sir Peirce Crosebie's Business.
Ld. Audley versus Ld. Cottington. Order for Records to be brought.
Ordered, That the Lord Awdley shall have a Warrant for sending for these Records following, to be brought hither To-morrow Morning, to be made Use of at the Hearing of his Cause between him and the Lord Cottington:

Answer to the aforesaid Message: That the House of Commons do take Notice of the Message, and will attend at the Time and Place appointed.
Argument about the Baronies of Ld. Hastings and Ruthin.
After this, Mr. Hales, of Counsel with Mr. Longevile, replied to the Argument of Mr. Attorney General, concerning the Title to the Baronies of Lord Hastings and Ruthin; and concluded with a Desire that their Lordships would give Judgement for Mr. Longevile.
Next, Mr. Wright did argue for the Title of the Lord Earl of Kente to those Baronies. Which being ended;
Judges to give their Opinions in this Case.
It was Ordered by the House, That the Judges severally do deliver their Opinions therein upon the Possessio Fratris, upon Monday Morning next; videlicet, 1 die Februarii.
The Bill of Subsidies was reported, with some Amendments, and, being read, were approved; but, upon some other Particulars, it was re-committed to the same Lords Committees, to nominate Lords that should rate the Peers.
