PRAYERS.

Longuevile's Cause to be heard.

Ordered, That Mr. Longevile's Cause be heard To-morrow Morning.

Time appointed for both Houses to wait on the King.

The Lord Keeper signified to the House, That he hath waited on the King, to know what Time His Majesty will appoint both Houses to wait on Him; and He designed To-morrow in the Afternoon, at Two a Clock, at Whitehall, in The Banqueting House.

Ld. Audley's Protection forged.

Mark Brandt bailed.

After this, Marke Brandt was brought to the Bar, being charged for counterfeiting the Lord Awdley's Protection under Hand and Seal; but, he alledging he had it of one William Umfrevile, who sold it to him for Six Pounds, and desiring the Order of the House for producing the said Umfrevile, and that Bail might be taken for his Forth-coming; it was Ordered accordingly. Hereupon, the House approving of the Bail, the Lord Keeper took the Recognizance, as follows:

His Bail.

Marcus Brandt, Mercator, de London, Johannes Helmes, Mercator, de London, et Conradus Stretholts, Mercator, recognoverunt seipsos debere Domino Regi Quingentas Libras, levari ex Terris, Tenementis, Bonis, et Catallis suis, et cujuslibet eorum, ad usum Domini Regis, etc.

The Condition of the above-said Recognizance is, That if the said Marke Brandt shall appear here and be forthcoming, at such Time as the Lords in Parliament shall appoint, and also be present at Judgement of Parliament against him, if any be, then this Recognizance to be void; or else to remain (fn. 1) in Force.

Stoddard's Petition referred to Committees.

Upon reading the Petition of Mary, Judeth, and Abigall Stoddard, Daughters to Sir Nicholas Stoddard, Knight, deceased; it was Ordered to be referred to the Consideration of the Committee for Petitions.

Lords Reporters to set down the true State of the Conference.

Memorandum, That the Lords which reported the Conference Yesterday, concerning the reprieving of the Priest, were appointed to meet this Afternoon, and to call some of the Members of the House of Commons, and set down the true State of the Conference, which is to be delivered to His Majesty To-morrow in the Afternoon, at Whitehall.

Bills to prevent the long Intermission of Parliaments.

Next, the Bill for preventing the Inconveniencies which happeneth by the long Intermission of Parliaments was read; and, for the serious Debate of such a weighty Business, the whole House was put into a Committee during Pleasure; and the House being resumed, the Lords thought it fit that some Additions and Amendments should be made to the said Bill; therefore it was committed, for that Purpose, to these Lords following:
