Besides the houses formerly named, there in Coven garden aforesaid that pay no tithes as many as come to by yearly Rent at least £300.

By them that are named and rated it appears the Rents of this parish of St. Botolph without Algate amount to at least per ann. £6910.

The tithes whereof come to (being now paid) per ann. £388 17s. Of which £388 17s. the Farmer pays the impropriators £322 6s. 8d.

And no allowance to myself, the priest of the parish but only the casualties of Burials, Weddings and Churchings, the chiefest of which being burialls I may say, if people do not die I cannot live; all which casualties, communibus annis, come to £50, £55 or 6 per ann. Only I must add certain Sermons of commemoration arising to £10 per ann. And I pay for my house rent per am. £11.
