Lady Purbuck's Privilege.

THE Lord Keeper signified unto the House, That he had received a Petition from the Viscountess of Purbeck, complaining that she was arrested this Parliament Time, and her Coach-horses attached, at the Suit, and by the Procurements, of Thomas West, Thomas Scory, and Richard Stukeley.

Whereupon it is Ordered, That they and the Serjeants who arrested her, and the Bailiffs who attached her Coach-horses, shall be brought before their Lordships on Monday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Morning, to answer their Contempt.

Lowe's Bill to sail Lands.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act to enable Vincent Lowe, of Denby, in the County of Derby, Esquire, to sell Part of his Lands, for the Payment of his Debts; as also to secure the Residue of his Lands, to continue according to the Intent of a former Assurance herein after-mentioned.

Put to the Question, and generally Assented unto.

And sent down to the Commons, by Mr. Serjeant Davis and Mr. Serjeant Ashley.

To annul Leases made by John Wrenham.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act to avoid the fraudulent Leases and Mortgages, made by John Wrenham, unto his Wives, Sisters, and other his Friends; and to reverse all Orders and Decrees made in the Court of Chancery for the Confirmation of the said Leases and Mortgages.

Orders of the House reported.

The Lord President reported, That the Grand Committee for Privileges have considered of Four Orders, which they think fit to be presented unto the House.

The which Four Orders were read; and, to the End that a free Dispute might be had thereof, the House was adjourned ad libitum, the Lord Keeper removing to the Wool-sack whereon the Judges fit.

After full Deliberation thereof had, and the House resumed, the said Four Orders were read again, and put to the Question in Manner following: videlicet,

No Lord to be absent without Leave.

"1. That an Order shall be drawn and set down, whereby all Lords may know the Danger they incur by being absent at the First Meeting of Parliament, except they have Leave from the King."

Read, and put to the Question, and generally Assented unto.

Lords absent to pay.

"2. When the House is set, as he is to pay that comes after Prayers, so he that comes not at all, and makes not a just Excuse, is to pay Five Shillings for every Day's Absence. This to be in Force presently."

Read, and put to the Question, and Assented unto.

No Lord to have more than Two Proxies.

"3. That, after this Session, no Lord of this House shall be capable of receiving above Two Proxies, nor more to be numbered in any Cause voted."

This Third Order being read; it was first put to the Question, whether the same shall be voted now presently or no.

And Agreed, To be voted presently.

Then it was read again, and put to the Question, and Assented unto.

Bishops to give theirs to Bishops; and Temporal Lords to Temporal Lords.

"4. That all Proxies from a Spiritual Lord shall be made unto a Spiritual Lord, and from a Temporal Lord unto a Temporal Lord."

Read, and put to the Question, and Assented unto.

Adjourn.
