Queen's Answer to the Address about the Terms offered by France:

The Lord Keeper reported, "That the House did, on Saturday last, present to Her Majesty their humble Address; and that Her Majesty was pleased to give this Gracious Answer; (videlicet,)

"My Lords,

"I return you My hearty Thanks, for the Zeal you express for My Honour, and for the Assurance you give of supporting Me."

Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Address of this House presented to Her Majesty, and Her Majesty's most Gracious Answer thereunto, shall be forthwith printed and published.

Egerton's Petition referred to Judges.

Upon reading the Petition of the Honourable Charles Egerton Esquire and Elizabeth his Wife; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for Sale of the Manor and Premises in the Petition mentioned, in order to pay the Monies charged thereupon, and the Petitioner Charles's other Debts:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, referred to Mr. Baron Price and Mr. Justice Dormer; who are forthwith to summon all Parties concerned in the Bill; and, after hearing them, to report to the House the State of the Case, with their Opinion thereupon, under their Hands, and whether all Parties that may be concerned in the Consequences of the Bill have signed the Petition; and also that the Judges, having perused the Bill, do sign the same.

E. of Anglesey's Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for making the Exemplification of the Settlement made upon the Marriage of James Lord Annesley with the Lady Elizabeth Manners, under the Great Seal of Great Britain, Evidence on Hearings in Equity and Trials at Law."
