Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to vest so much of the Estate of Richard Minshall, of Bourton, in the County of Bucks, Esquire (as is not limited in Jointure), in Trustees, by Sale or Mortgage, to raise Monies, for Payment of a Debt of Eight Thousand Pounds, and Five Thousand Pounds for his Daughter's Portion; and that the Residue may be settled to such Uses as the said Richard Minshall, with the Consent of his Wife and the Trustees, and the Survivors and Survivor of them, shall think fit."

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Wymondham and Attleborough Highways, Bill.

The Lord Viscount Townshend reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for continuing an Act made in the Seventh and Eighth Years of the Reign of His late Majesty King William, intituled, An Act for the repairing the Highways between Wymondham and Attleborough, in the County of Norfolke; and for including therein the Road leading from Wymondham to Hethersett, over the Commons belonging to the said Towns," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable William Howe, of Somerton-Early, in the County of Somerset, Esquire, to sell the Manor and Farm of Gunvile Eastbury, alias Tarrant Gunvile, in the County of Dorsett, and several Messuages, Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments, in Gunvile Eastbury, alias Tarrant Gunvile, aforesaid; and to settle other Lands and Hereditaments, of greater Value, to the same Uses to which the said Manor and Premises in Gunvile Eastbury, alias Tarrant Gunvile, now stand limited, in Lieu thereof."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Rich'd Holford and Mr. Pitt:

To carry down the abovementioned Two Bills, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Muirheid versus Muirheid:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Rose Muirheid, from a Sentence or Decree of the Lords of Council and Session in North Britain, made on the Behalf of James Muirheid, the Eleventh Day of July One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seven, in a Cause between the said Parties; and praying, "That the said Sentence or Decree may be reversed and discharged:" As also upon the Answer of James Muirheid put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed.

It is Ordered and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Rose Muirbeid shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Sentence or Decree therein complained of shall be, and is hereby, affirmed.

The Earl of Sunderland, by Her Majesty's Command, and pursuant to the Address of this House, delivered Two Papers; the Titles whereof were read; (videlicet,)

Upon reading the Petition of Thomas Maningham, Doctor of Divinity, Dean of Her Majesty's Free Chapel of St. George within the Castle of Windsor (delivered by the Earl of Sunderland, by Her Majesty's Command); praying Leave to bring in a Bill, for the annexing the Rectory of Hasley, in the County of Oxford, to the Deanry of Windsor; and that the Rectory of North Berkamstead, in the County of Hertford, be enjoyed by such as shall be nominated by the Dean of Windsor, and Canons thereto belonging, with such other Provisions as shall be conceived necessary, in respect of the Premises:

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioner hath hereby Leave given to bring in a Bill, according to the Prayer of the Petition.

Middlesex Register Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the public registering of all Deeds, Conveyances, and Wills, that shall be made of, or that may affect, any Honours, Manors, Lands, Tenements, or Hereditaments, within the County of Midd'x, after the Day of."
