Sir R. Bradshaigh's Bill.

After reading, and considering, the Report of Mr. Baron Price and Mr. Justice Dormer, to whom was referred the Consideration of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Trustees the Fourth Part of a Fourth Part (being the Share of Sir Roger Bradshaigh Baronet) of the Estate of the late Countess of Oxford, to be sold, to pay Portions and Debts; and, with the Remainder of the Money arising by such Sale, to purchase other Lands, to be settled to the same Uses as his Paternal Estate is by his Marriage Settlement:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill be read a Second Time.

Bill for Sale of Lands, to pay Debts, &c. of late Lord Jeffries.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Barony of Wem, and Manors of Wem and Loppington, and several Lands and Tenements in the County of Salop, and the Manors of Dolby and Broughton, and Lands thereto belonging, in the County of Leicester, and the Manor of Fulmer, and several Lands and Tenements, in the County of Bucks, late the Estate of George late Lord Jeffreys, deceased, in Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of Debts and Portions, and other Purposes therein mentioned."

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the Lords Committees above named.

Harvey's Bill.

The Earl of Rochester reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better Performance of the Will of Stephen Harvey Esquire deceased, and making Provision for his Children," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Ordered, That the said Bill be engrossed.

Howe's Bill.

The Earl of Rochester also reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable William Howe, of Somerton-Early, in the County of Somerset, Esquire, to sell the Manor and Farm of Gunvile Eastbury, alias Tarrant Gunvile, in the County of Dorsett, and several Messuages, Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments, in Gunvile Eastbury, alias Tarrant Gunvile, aforesaid; and to settle other Lands and Hereditaments, of greater Value, to the same Uses to which the said Manor and Premises in Gunvile Eastbury, alias Tarrant Gunvile, now stand limited, in Lieu thereof," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Offley, alias Crewe, Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Anne Crewe (late Offley) Widow, and John Crewe (late Offley) her Son and Heir Apparent, to change their Surnames from Offley to Crewe, according to the Settlement of John Crewe Esquire, deceased."

Wymondham to Attleborough Highways, Bill

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for continuing an Act, made in the Seventh and Eighth Years of the Reign of His late Majesty King William, intituled, "An Act for the repairing the Highways between Wymondham and Attleborough, in the County of Norfolk; and for including therein the Road leading from Wymondham to Hethersett, over the Commons belonging to the said Towns."

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the same Committee to whom Sir Roger Bradshaigh's Bill stands committed.

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Monday next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Stafford's Bill.

The Earl of Stamford reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Trustees, the Reversion of several Lands and Tenements expectant on Leases for Lives, the Estate of Hugh Stafford, of Pynes, in the County of Devon, Esquire, to be sold, for Payment of Debts; and, by discharging his Power of leasing, to secure other Lands, to come into Possession to his Son, in Lieu thereof," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Trustees, the Reversion of several Lands and Tenements expectant on Leases for Lives, the Estate of Hugh Stafford, of Pynes, in the County of Devon, Esquire, to be sold, for Payment of Debts; and, by discharging his Power of leasing, to secure other Lands, to come into Possession to his Son, in Lieu thereof."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Whitehaven Harbour Bill.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for preserving and enlarging the Harbour of Whitehaven, in the County of Cumberland."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Ordered, That the Commons have Notice, that the Lords have agreed to the abovesaid Two Bills, without any Amendment.

Middlesex Register Bill.

The Judges, pursuant to Order, delivered a Bill, concerning the registering of Deeds and Wills, in the County of Midd'x.

Parochial Libraries Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the better Preservation of Parochial Libraries, in that Part of Great Britain called England."

Judge's Petition for a Divorce, Bill:

The House being informed, "That a Person at the Door was ready to make Oath of the Service of the Order of this House, in relation to the dissolving the Marriage of Arthur Judge with Maria his Wife:"

His Wife's Consent to it.

Ralph Card, Merchant in Dublin, was called in, and sworn to the Truth of an Affidavit, "That the said Maria had given her Consent for dissolving her Marriage with the said Arthur Judge."

It was agreed, that the said Affidavit shall lie on the Table.

Manchester Church Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for building a Church, or Chapel, in the Town of Manchester, in the County of Lancaster."

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the same Committee to whom Sir Roger Bradshaigh's Bill stands committed.

Minshall's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to vest so much of the Estate of Richard Minshall, of Bourton, in the County of Bucks, Esquire, (as is not limited in Jointure) in Trustees, by Sale or Mortgage, to raise Monies, for Payment of a Debt of Eight Thousand Pounds, and Five Thousand Pounds for his Daughter's Portion; and that the Residue may be settled to such Uses as the said Richard Minshall, with the Consent of his Wife, and the Trustees, and the Survivors and Survivor of them, shall think fit."
