ORDERED, That Mr. Colman have Leave to go into the Country, for a Fortnight, for Recovery of his Health.

Craiestyn sworn.

Abraham Craiestyn took the Oaths at the Table, in order to his Naturalization.

Ordered, That Mr. Stretford have Leave to go into the Country for a Fortnight, upon earnest Business.

Delay of Dorchester Writ.

A Complaint being made, That the Writ for Electing of a Burgess for the Borough of Dorchester, in the County of Dorsett, in the room of Gerrard Nappier, Esquire, deceased, is not executed;

Ordered, That Mr. Cooper, the late Under Sheriff, and Mr. Atwell, the present Under Sheriff of the County of Dorsett, do attend this House To-morrow Morning; to give an Account of the Reason thereof.

Leave for Members to attend Lords.

Ordered, That Sir Robert Sawyer have Leave to attend the House of Lords, as Counsel in a Cause between Mercer and Wright.

Ordered, That Mr. Hawles have Leave to attend the House of Lords, as Counsel in a Cause between Dawson and Dodd.

London Orphans.

Resolved, That this House do, upon Friday Morning next, at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House to consider of Ways to satisfy the Debt due to the Orphans of the City of London.

University Charters.

Ordered, That the Bill for confirming the Charters of the Two Universities, be read To-morrow Morning, the First time.

Land Tax Commissioners.

Ordered, That the Lists of the Commissioners Names, brought in by the Members of the House, for the Bill for granting an Aid of Two Shillings in the Pound, be referred to the Committee of the whole House, to whom the said Bill is referred.

Supply Bill; Land Tax.

Then the House resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of the said Bill.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Solicitor General took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Solicitor General reports from the Committee of the whole House, That they had made a further Progress in the said Bill: And that they had directed him to move the House, That the Committee may sit again To-morrow Morning.

Resolved, That the House do, To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the further Consideration of the said Bill.

Answer to Thanks and Resolutions.

Mr. Speaker reports, That he had Yesterday attended his Majesty at the Banquetting House in Whitehall, and presented the Thanks of this House to his Majesty for his most gracious Message of Saturday last; and had also acquainted his Majesty with the Resolution of this House upon the said Message: And that his Majesty was pleased to return his Answer to this Effect:

Gentlemen,

I shall take all the Care that may be, to carry on the War in Ireland with Vigour; and to employ such Persons as may be most proper for the Service: And I doubt not, but that I shall have the Assistance of the House of Commons, to carry it on in such a Manner as may be according to your Desires, and My Intentions.

Reversing Armstrong's Attainder.

Ordered, That the Lord Marquis of Winton, Sir Scroope How, Mr. Colt, Colonel Godfrey, Mr. Baldwyn, Mr. Fortescue, be added to the Committee to whom the Bill for reversing the Attainder of Sir Thomas Armstrong is referred.

Ordered, That all Committees be revived.
