Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for Transportation of Beer over the Seas.

Commissioners to treat concerning the Union.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act declaratory, explaining a Branch of an Act, made in the First Session of this Parliament, intituled, An Act authorizing certain Commissioners of the Realm of England to treat with the Commissioners of Scotland, for the Weal of both Kingdoms.

Chepstow Bridge.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the new making up, and keeping in Reparation, of Chepstow Bridge.

Skinners.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Relief of such as lawfully use the Trade and Handicraft of Skinners.

Brewing.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, An Act prohibiting all such from brewing of Beer and Ale as sell the same again by Retail; and that all common Brewers keep the lawful Assize of Beer and Ale.

The said Two Bills sent to the Lower House, by Mr. Serjeant Crooke and Mr. Dr. Hone, with a Message likewise from the Lords to this Effect: videlicet,

Free Liberty of Trade.

That the Lords do desire (according to former Appointment with them) to renew the Conference with them about the Matter of Free Trade with Spayne, Portugall and Fraunce; and will give Meeting unto them (if they shall so think good) upon Wednesday next, the 30th of this Instant April, by Two in the Afternoon, at the Painted Chamber; and do think fit, in their Honourable Justice, That the Merchants and others to whom the Letters Patents for those Companies are granted may be heard (if there shall be Cause) in ought they have to say for themselves in that Matter; and will appoint the same Committees for this Conference that were for the former.

Answered, That they will be ready to attend the Conference, at the Time and Place prefixed.

2. An Act for the better Sale of certain Lands of Henry late Lord Windesor, deceased, for Payment of his Debts, and better Performance of his last Will and Testament. Returned, with certain Amendments.

3. An Act for repairing of the Highway from Nonsuch to Talworth, in the Parishes of Ewell and Longe Ditton, in the County of Surrey, leading to Kingston upon Thames, in the County aforesaid.

4. An Act for the Rating and Levying of the Charges for conveying Malefactors and Offenders to the Gaol.

5. An Act of Restitution of Roland Mericke, Son of Sir Gelley Mericke, Knight, and Dame Margaret, Wife of Sir John Vaughan, Knight, Daughter of the said Sir Gelley, in Blood.

Ecclesiastical Matters.

Report made this Day particularly of the Conference with the Lower House upon Thursday, the 17th of this Instant, concerning the Four Points, or Articles, of Matters Ecclesiastical, according as they were severally distributed to be delivered by certain of the Lords the Bishops, videlicet, 1. Touching depriving and silencing of Ministers, related by the Lord Archbishop of Cant. 2. The Multiplicity of Commissions, by the Lord Bishop of Winchestr. 3. The Matter of Citations, by the Lord Bishop of Bathe and Wells. 4. The Point of Excommunication, by the Lord Bishop of St. Davids.
