A BILL for settling the Prices upon Wine was read the Second time.

Moseley's Estate.

A Bill for settling the Estate of Sir Edward Moseley Baronet, deceased, was tendered; and received.

Ordered, That this Bill be read on Monday next.

Wood, Coals, &c.

Resolved, &c. That a Committee be appointed to consider of the Abuses in Woodmongers, Wharfingers, Carmen, and others, in advancing the Prices of Wood, Coals, and Fuelling; and also of the Abuses of such as do advance the Price of Victuals, or of Hay, Oats, and Provender; and to peruse the former Laws to the Seizing of Wood, and other Matters, and see wherein they are defective, and bring in a Bill or Bills for Redress of the Abuses before-mentioned:

And that it be referred to Mr. Waller, Sir John Duncombe, Colonel Birch, Serjeant Mainard, Sir John Birkenhead, Mr. Pryn, Sir Thom. Higgons, Mr. Morice, Sir Charles Harbord, Mr. Comptroller, Mr. Pepis, Sir Thom. Lee, Colonel Phillips, Sir John Knight, Mr. Garraway, Sir Edw. Wallpoole, Sir Job Charlton, Sir Robert Holt, Sir Hen. Poynz's Estate.

Ordered, That the Bill for assuring the Moiety of the Manor of Iron Acton unto Sir John Poynz be read the Second time on Monday next.

Winchelsea Election.

Ordered, That the Report concerning the Election of Winchelsea be heard on Wednesday next.

Poll Bill.

Sir Thomas Meeres reports from the Conference had with the Lords upon the Poll Bill, several Amendments and Additions, delivered at the Conference, to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

And the Amendments being once read;

The First Amendment being to omit the Clause in the Bill for putting a Double Assessment upon Aliens and Non-conformists, was read the Second time; and the First Part, as to Aliens, debated.

The Question being propounded, That there be Distinction of Aliens;

And the Question being put, That the Question be put;

It passed in the Negative.

The Question being put, That this House doth agree with the Lords as to that Part of the Amendment concerning Aliens;

The House was divided.

The Yeas went forth.
