Prayers.

Loyal Officers.

ORDERED, That the Committee to which the Matter concerning the indigent loyal Officers was referred, be revived: And that all the Members of the House that shall come, are to have Voices: And Mr. Cooper, and Mr. Bayley are to attend the Committee; and give an Account, in Ten Days, of the Monies by them received for the indigent loyal Officers; whatsoever they have received, and from whom; and what they have paid, and to whom, and by what Order: And that the Treasurer do also give in his Accompt to the Committee, by the Time before limited, of his Receipts and Disbursements.

Earl of Cleveland's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill to enable the Time given by a former Act, for Redemption of Mortgages made by the Earl of Cleveland, was read.

Resolved, &c. That these Words, viz. "or of the Assigns of Sidney Mountague Esquire, deceased," be inserted in the Bill.

Which was done; and the Words thrice read; and agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That these Words, "and by the Assigns of the said Sidney Mountague respectively," be inserted in the Bill.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the Title shall be, An Act to enlarge the Time given by a former Act, for Redemption of Mortgages made by the Earl of Cleeveland.

And Mr. Lovelace is to carry up the Bill to the Lords.

Privilege.

Ordered, That Edward Robarts be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms, or his Deputy, to answer his Abuse and Breach of Privilege, in exacting Money of the Members of this House for Post Letters.

Committee for Grievances.

Ordered, That the Grand Committee for Grievances do sit on Wednesday next.

Chimney Money.

The House then resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of a Compensation to his Majesty, in lieu of Chimney Money.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Millward took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Millward reports, That the Committee had made some Progress in the Debate of a Compensation to his Majesty, in lieu of Chimney Money; and desires, that the House would resolve into a Committee again Tomorrow Morning, Ten a Clock, to proceed in the Debate thereof.

French Commodities.

Resolved, &c. That, after Consideration is had of the Answer of the Lords to the Vote of this House, concerning French Commodities, the House be resolved into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed in the Debate of a Compensation to his Majesty, in lieu of Chimney Money.

Resolved, &c. That the Answer of the Lords, at the Conference, to the Vote of this House, for prohibiting the Importation of French Commodities, be taken into Consideration To-morrow Morning, Ten of the Clock.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
