Message to attend the King.
A MESSAGE from his Majesty, by Sir John Eyton, Usher of the Black Rod;
Mr. Speaker,
The King commands this honourabe House to wait upon his Majesty, in the House of Peers.
And, accordingly, Mr. Speaker, with the House, went up to attend his Majesty.
The King's Speech reported.
Mr. Speaker reports, That his Majesty, to prevent Mistakes, had been pleased to send him a Copy of the Speech which he delivered to both Houses: Which being read by Mr. Speaker;
Thanks for Speech.
Resolved, &c. That the humble and hearty Thanks of this House be returned to his Majesty, for his great Care in Management of the present War: And that this House will supply his Majesty proportionably to his present Occasions.
Resolved, &c. That the Lords Concurrence be desired to this Vote: And Mr. Garraway is to go up to the Lords for their Concurrence.

Resolved, &c. That this Committee do meet Tomorrow in the Afternoon at Two of the Clock, in the Exchequer Chamber; and every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, at Two of the Clock, in the Place before-mentioned: And to take into Consideration all such Matters as shall or may come in Question, touching Returns, Elections, and Privileges; and to proceed upon Double Returns in the First Place; and report their Proceedings to the House: And all Persons that will question Double Returns already made, are to do it in Fourteen Days after any new Return shall be brought in: And the Committee is to have Power to receive Petitions; to send for Witnesses, Papers, and Records, for their Information; and to report any Matter which may concern Breach of Privilege: And all Members that are returned for Two or more Places, are to make their Elections by This-daythree-weeks, for which of the Places they will serve, provided there be no Question upon the Return for that Place: And if any thing shall come in Question, touching the Return, or Matter of Privilege, of any Member of this Committee, such Member is to withdraw from the Committee, during the Time the Matter which concerns himself is in Debate: And they are to suspend the Hearing of any Cause wherein Witnesses must attend from Places infected.

Ordered, That the Grand Committee for Religion do meet, and sit in the House, every Monday in the Afternoon at Two of the Clock.
Ordered, That the Grand Committee for Grievances do meet, and sit in the House, every Wednesday in the Afternoon at Two of the Clock.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, for making out a new Writ, for electing a Burgess to serve for the Borough of Boston in the County of Lincolne, in the room of the late Lord Willoughby, now Earl of Lindsey, called up to the House of Peers.
Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, for making out a new Writ, for electing a Burgess to serve for the Borough of Haverford West in the County of Pembroke, in the room of Sir William Moreton, called up to the House of Peers.
Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to making out a new Writ, for the Electing of a Knight for the County of Nottingham, in the room of Sir Gervas Clifton, deceased.
Bristoll Election.
