Damage Cleere.

A Bill for taking away of Damage Cleere was read the First time.

Resolved, That this Bill be read the Second time Tomorrow Morning.

Recovery of Tythes.

Ordered, That a Bill be brought in, for the better enabling Clergymen to recover their Tythes: And it is referred to Mr. Dowdswell, Mr. Serjeant Maynard, and Mr. Coleman, to prepare and bring in a Bill.

Petit Treason, Murder, &c.

A Bill for the better Tryal and Conviction of such as are indicted for Petit Treason, Felony, and other Crimes, was read the Second time.

The Question being put, That the Bill be committed;

The House was divided.

The Yeas went out.

The Voices being equal; Mr. Speaker gave his Voice with the Yeas.

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have commanded us to acquaint you, That his Majesty hath appointed Three of the Clock this Afternoon, for both Houses to attend him in Christ Church Hall.

Ordered, That the House do meet at Two of the Clock, in order to attend his Majesty, in a Body, at Three this Afternoon.

Writs to be issued.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do deliver out the Writ, for Election of a new Member for Kellington in Cornewall.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for Election of a Burgess to serve for the Borough of Beralston in the County of Devon, in the Room of Colonel Richard Arundell, he being called up to the House of Peers.

Ordered, &c. That Mr. Speaker do issue out his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for Election of a Knight to serve for the County of Sommersett, in the room of the Lord Pawlett, he being called up to the House of Peers.
